I own a pair of nice Johnston & Murphy, lamb-skin shoes. I have never owned any shoe-wear this nice ever! I had no idea how to take care of them (which is weird because my great-great grandfather was a cobler -- you think it would be in my genes, lol). So, I looked on yelp, found these guys, and they were super helpful! They taught me the ropes on shoe care, help me buy the right stuff to take care of my shoes at home, then did a professional job to restore my shoes for a mere $7. I really thought it was gonna be more. #awesomesauce They also have a whole shoe store of which they are eager to help anyone with. But, I just need the yearly restore and the information. The guy behind the counter said that he still needed to "polish" the boots, but I could see him changing out the soles in the back and the paint that he applied to the heels was still wet when he gave them to me.
