If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I received my engagement ring the week of 6/28 and…read morebrought it in for sizing days later. It was promised on 7/21. On 7/23, I was notified that the sizing was done poorly, the stones were loose and the shank was too thin. I received photos and could tell the ring was no longer a circle and one corner of the main diamond was out of line. It was sent back in for a second repair and that's when the manger Rod got involved. He said he was on vacation and was not aware of the ring having problems, which I do not understand how since he's the manager and should know what's coming and going from his store, regardless of who sent it out. It was promised again 8/3. I received a call that it was ready on On 8/6, I received a call from Rod that he received the ring back and was still unhappy with the repair and was going to have to order me a brand new ring and have it sized. The ring would be coming first from CA to the store in SC, THEN again have to be sent out for sizing. Rod offered to let me take the DEFECTIVE ring and wear it until the new ring came back. I told him I wanted to speak to the district manager and Rod assured me he would have his boss call me. I came up to get it that evening and there was nobody available to give it to me. The two people including Rod were helping other people and I couldn't wait so I had to come back the next day and get the defective ring, which slides all over my finger, but is better than telling people you got engaged and having NO RING on your finger. Rod PROMISED he himself would see it through and take care of me and get it done. It's is now August 22nd and I have not heard a WORD from Rod or the district manager regarding a promise date for the new ring or the conversation I asked to have with the district manager. NOT A WORD. I came to the store today to find that Rod is ONCE AGAIN gone for the weekend, which he seems to always be gone. The other manager called Rod, who then relayed the message from Rod saying, "It is in the shop and he will have the district manager call you." But he provided no time frame or promise date for the ring. I told the other manager this was not ok and we were not happy. She said the district manager covers two districts and that's probably why he hasn't called me. That is unacceptable customer service! All I have got from Kay Jewelers in Greenwood SC is garbage--garbage product, garbage customer service, and a bunch of broken promises. This management team needs an overhaul from the district to the store. My fiancé is paying for this ring every Friday and he is keeping his end of the deal. Kay Jewelers has failed on every level. I will be going to corporate, as I have been patient and polite this whole time but I'm tired of getting the run around. The ring will be paid off in the 90 days as promised, and I haven't even been able to wear it at all or have had to wear their junk product as a supposed consolation the whole time it's been being paid for. Terrible! Take your business elsewhere!

I was looking forward to bringing the wife today to pick out a few extra things for Christmas. I walked in and my wife I and were immediately attacked by an employee for not wearing a mask. No hi or Good Morning, it was PUT ON A MASK NOW OR YOU NEED TO LEAVE. I'm not one to make a scene so I politely told her no thank you and I guess We will leave. Suffice to say I will go elsewhere for future purchases, somewhere that isn't going to push this crap down your throat and make you swallow it. Only business I have been kicked out of in Greenwood. You would think these people would treat their customers with a little bit of respect especially at a high end store but I guess not.
