Let me start by saying that Attorney Dan Conway is the real deal. One of the most compassionate…read moreempathetic and understanding person I have ever met. I enlisted in the United States Navy as a teenager young and naïve. I was a good soldier and gave it my all. I was called at 4.0 soldier because of my evil and I was also decorated. Unfortunately, during the first golf war, I was seriously injured overseas and brought back to the United States for treatment. I was given a series of nerve blocks 4 to 5 a week for 90 days. Every time needing to be sedated with heavy anesthesia. Today the doctors say this type of procedure should've only been performed three times a year. I was also heavily medicated. My grandmother, Author that raised me had passed away and I wanted to go to her funeral. 2 MP's at a commissary try to detain me and I struck them both I left the scene went UA and was also charged with not following orders. After my grandmother's funeral, when I turned myself, and they threw me in the break for 90 days, gave me a Special Court, Marshall, other than honorable discharge and took away all my benefits. Military attorney Dan Conway has helped me pro bono to apply for Justice in getting my discharge up, upgraded to honorable. I was a good soldier and being overmedicated led to misconduct that cost my career. This man has gone above and beyond on only to help me but many other veterans in similar situations. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Attorney Scott Hockenberry of Daniel Conway & Associates…read morefor the unwavering commitment, legal expertise, and compassion he has shown throughout my son's military court-martial appeal. He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. From the very first phone conversation, Mr. Hockenberry has been attentive, responsive, and deeply engaged. He answers every phone call, replies to every email, and never leaves me in the dark about the status of the appeal process. His knowledge of the military justice system is truly remarkable. What stands out most is his ability to translate the complexities of the court-martial appeal process into clear and understandable terms, something I greatly appreciated as a parent navigating an overwhelming and emotional situation. Mr. Hockenberry never made me feel like "just a family member" he made sure my voice was heard, my questions were answered, and my concerns were respected. Above all, he is honest. He never made false promises, but he always provided hope grounded in law, facts, and preparation. His confidence and professionalism gave me strength during some of the darkest days of this journey. If you are looking for an attorney who is not only skilled in military law but also deeply human in his approach, Scott Hockenberry is that attorney. I am proud to offer this testimony as a parent who has witnessed firsthand the difference he can make. With sincere appreciation, Lakisha Tillman Mother of USCG Reimonenq

I read these reviews hoping that I would be the anomaly, however they were spot on. When I first…read moreretained David, he used the expression of using a howitzer to fight for my custody case. However, a year later and over $50,000, I am worse off than when I filed for divorce. Lack of correspondence, empathy, and little to no aggression in tactics. At no point did I ever get a sense that he had a solidified plan of action in my case. His main focus was to bend and yield to opposing counsel. He would allow months to go by for interrogatories for opposing counsel. I would go weeks and months without hearing anything, and would send emails, texts, and phone calls begging for guidance with no response. I would not only get charged for reading the correspondence but then would recieve no response. In addition, there would be correspondence between him and opposing counsel (to which I got charged for) and I would not be brought into loop for conversation. At times I wondered who he was actually representing me or my ex wife. Not once did I go to court, and a year later and absolutely nothing in regards to a solidified custody agreement. It was not until I started over again with a different firm out of Richmond that I realized how behind the curve I was. When they asked when my last court date was/ when it would be, they were shocked to find that I hadn't been once. With all the information I had in my case, they were shocked with the amount of money spent that NOTHING had been done on this case. Luckily with new firm (who are absolute nail drivers) I already have a court date. It should be stated that his paralegals, Amanda and Jaimie, were incredible. They offered words of kindness, encouragement, and wisdom. I was grateful for their involvement in my case, but just wished David matched their energy. Do yourself a favor, look into the reviews on your attorney (they usually paint an accurate painting), and retain an attorney who will not have a laissez-faire approach. I implore you, that if you have a high conflict divorce, that you do not use this firm to fight your battles.

I want to share my experience with attorney David Dildy to caution others. When I first met him, he…read moreseemed very charismatic and convincing. He made everything sound promising, and I felt like I was in good hands. He even got me into the courtroom quickly, which initially felt reassuring. But once we were there, things didn't feel right. As time went on, it became clear that Mr. Dildy was unreliable. He often made excuses for not getting things done, blaming illness or medication, but the truth was he just didn't follow through on what he promised. I had to constantly push him to take action, and it was exhausting. One of the biggest issues was with the child support paperwork. He assured me it would be handled quickly, but it took him two months to file anything, and even then, he filed the wrong motion. Instead of filing to request child support, he only filed to amend or stop it. This mistake meant I had to start the process all over again nearly a year later, losing valuable time and support that I needed. What was most disturbing was when my children were in danger. Instead of taking immediate action to protect them, Mr. Dildy gave me a terrible analogy, comparing my situation to sacrificing troops to win a war. He advised me to let things get worse so we'd have a stronger case. As a parent, I was appalled. My children's well-being should never have been treated like a tactical move in a legal battle. They are not pieces on a chessboard to be sacrificed for a better outcome. Another huge issue was his lack of fight. He was very quick to give in to any demands from the other side and never stood up for my best interests. Because of him, I had to jump through hoops to accommodate things he passively accepted, leaving me frustrated and feeling like I wasn't being properly defended. I eventually filed a complaint with his firm and got a small refund of about $2,000, but that didn't come close to making up for the tens of thousands of dollars I wasted on his poor representation. It was only with the help of another law firm that I finally won my case. If you're considering hiring David Dildy, I strongly advise you to think twice. He may seem convincing at first, but in my experience, he didn't deliver on his promises and failed to protect my family when it mattered most. Your case deserves an attorney who will genuinely look out for your best interests.
