I…read morearrived about ten minutes before my scheduled appointment and was placed right away in a treatment room where I sat for 45 minutes. I knew the doctor was in the office because I saw her pass the open door several times and heard her voice occasionally during those 45 minutes. When she walked into the treatment room she flashed me a smile and asked me how I was doing. I told her I'd been waiting so long I was thinking about getting up and going home. In a voice best directed toward a small child she said "Oh, you need a hug", as if I was just having a bad day. I feel I deserved an apology and explanation for having been kept waiting; not some sarcastic remark. She then sat on a stool, began examining my feet, and said "You're not diabetic, are you?" That was the purpose of my regular visits to her - for diabetic foot care. Apparently she'd not taken 30 seconds to glance at my medical records prior to coming into the room. During the appointment she told me I'd benefit from rubbing a certain ointment on my feet and that she'd phone my pharmacist to prescribe it before the end of the day. When a week passed without her calling my pharmacy, I had to phone her and remind her to do so. My health insurance pays 100% of my doctors' visits and treatments. I deserve better than Dr. Gustafson.

The admin staff are friendly and welcoming, the office is very clean and tidy and the medical team is courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I've worked with the orthotist to have some braces fitted for my back and my knee. Derek, the orthotist is super helpful, kind and explains how the braces work and how they will help you live a more full life. My most recent visit was due to a bad fall I took, unknowingly breaking my ankle. They got me in the same day I called and informed me that I needed a metal plate and screws put into my ankle for stability and healing. I was scheduled for surgery shortly thereafter and Dr. Margiotta is super. He is friendly and open to questions and thoroughly explains everything. The MAs are great and help you move through the process of getting the surgery set up, COVID testing and everything else you need to know before and after surgery. I highly recommend this practice if you are having any issues with your feet or if you might need bracing/splinting or are having other issues.

The next day being friday I called the office and asked to talk to the scheduler....she was too busy. They said they left her a message to call me. Didn't hear a word. I gave it all day monday...nothing. Now I am getting pissed. I call leave more messages, too busy. Finally, on a Friday when I was in town I stopped at the office. I wanted a word with the office manager to file a complaint about her staff. The receptionist asked my name left her desk and came back saying she stepped out and didn't know if she would be back. Of course she did.....really? The girl told me to email her! No way little girl. I asked to talk to the scheduler and if course she was busy. I am getting hotter by the minute, and felt like i wanted to grab someone by the throat. But instead I walked out. Monday one more try. Nothing. So maybe God was watching out for me. I had already had one knee replacement that turned out bad, by a different place on Colorado. At any rate I have gotten another Dr. But i am still months out for surgery. I am getting worse by the day, more painful, with bone on bone. Have to use a cane or walker to get around my own home. DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANY TYPE OF SURGERY. IF THE DOCTORS APPROVE OF THIS KIND OF SHODDY TREATMENT OF THEIR PATIENTS, DO YOU REALLY WANTING THEM TO OPERATE ON YOU? I THINK NOT. SO BE WEARY FOLKS!
