She is seriously the sweetest person and was so enjoyable to work with. Her communication was very timely and she was so kind regarding any questions I had. My husband and I aren't big "picture people," so in hopes that we felt even more comfortable in front of the camera and with Samantha, we also booked our engagement shoot with her. If there is one thing I can HIGHLY recommend doing, it's that. Have your engagement photos done with your wedding photographer!! She got to our original location early to check out some good photo op spots and decided against it due to weather from a previous day. I'm so thankful she took the time and cared enough to do that because the second location we ended up at was absolutely stunning and served as the most beautiful backdrop for our photos! I ended up loving ALL of them!! She made us feel so comfortable, talked us through different poses, and was so complimentary of us. For our wedding day, Samantha's main concerns were that I got all of the pictures I wanted and that I didn't feel rushed to get them. Luckily, we were able to get in early to our venue and Samantha was already on site before we arrived! She was so sweet and helpful the whole day, easy to work with, and has such an eye for photos, lighting, etc. All day long, her and her second photographer were pushing to get all of the photos for us (posed and candid)! You can tell Samantha loves what she does. She is so passionate about photography, and it shows! She's dang good at it! I am so appreciative of her and truly enjoyed working with her. Photos last forever and I know we're going to have incredible, beautiful memories to look back on because of her. While her prices are on the higher end of the quotes that we received, she also had (in our opinion) the best portfolio of shots. She & her assistant came prepared to work and they braved the hot summer heat to get the best shots. She's funny, nice, we loved her energy she just made us feel very comfortable. I really appreciated the form she had filled out before hand on the timeline and what type of shots we were looking for. She said in general it takes about 3 months for her to process all the photos and she shared ours in about 2.5 months. I did ask for a 'preview' so that we can share with our immediate family. I'm not sure how to describe the "Samantha May touch" other than it's just very beautiful lighting. We were very pleased with our wedding photos!

Although I had to drag my hubby there kicking and screaming, he ended up really enjoying our shoot...Chris was great at putting us at ease and made the whole process painless.... He told us to wear solid colors (not prints), suggested the best time of day for the shoot, scouted the best location for us using google maps, made sure he arrived early and was completely set up before we arrived, thus not wasting our time. We booked Kearston for our October 2017 wedding and a pre-wedding session which I used for a boudior for my husband to be. The boudior was awesome! After the initial heartbreak and pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps, we made it work a month later. Thanks to Deer Park Villa in Marin County we were able to have our dream wedding and Kearston was there to capture every beautiful moment. Her work speaks for itself but it is Kearston's heart and personality that makes her such a wonderful vendor.
