Just moved to the area and thought I'd try the local Chinese restaurant. I'm so glad I did! Called in my lunch special order ahead of time, which was hot and ready when I arrived. The restaurant was full of construction workers during lunchtime, who clearly know where to get great food! I ordered the Bourbon Chicken Lunch Special which came with fried rice and a 12-oz can of soda. It was delicious! I will definitely be back. read more

This is the best Chinese I would dare to say in between Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco County. It's your typical entrance, with a delivery only type of feel, and a slightly upset owner (which makes you feel it's authentic no?). I was skeptical but my wife who works nearby has mentioned we have to get this, and I was driven crazy by their general tso (I felt like I was eating food from Northeast American Chinese place). The crab rangoon had the right amount of crab to cream cheese ratio (1:5), the vegetables were fresh and the right flavors, and the garlic chicken (I'm on keto) was very flavorful with a large portion of vegetables. We have to be careful just as we're watching our calories, but... definitely order takeout either in person or via an app from this place, you won't regret it! read more

The food from this restaurant was surprisingly good. We were visiting family who live nearby and they ordered takeout from Shang Hai on Christmas eve. An exceptionally busy time, especially for Chinese restaurants, so we were pleased when all the orders came correctly. The egg rolls were quite crispy and tasty. We had their mu shu pork. The al dente cabbage and veggies made it a little crunchy. You could choose pancakes or white rice and we got the pancakes. Hoisin sauce came with it too. We also had their Singapore rice noodles which was quite good. Thin noodles mixed with a spicy curry sauce and with pieces chicken, beef, pork, and vegetables. I'd definitely get this dish again but ask them to make it a touch less spicy. Other dishes ordered that night were beef with broccoli and chicken lo mein. Although we didn't try those entrees, they looked good. And our family members enjoyed them. Portions were large so we had lots of left overs for them to partake of long after we'd gone. read more

They were one of the best, not anymore, Beef and Broccoli reeked of garlic, Sweet & sour chicken was old and refried, Egg rolls were tiny and almost all dough. Took major dive this year, tried several times to give them another chance, but alas worse every time. So I will find another. I no longer recommend this establishment. Hard pass. read more

The egg roll and Krab Rangoon were stale and had no flavor. The General Chicken was really sweet and tasted awful.

Food is always fresh and fast. Consistency is key and my dame order taste the same every time. Love it and I have returned several times.

Completely burnt egg foo young. I opened my take out and this is what I saw. It was not even edible. When I called the store to tell them not to serve burnt food, they offered no apology and even made an excuse that some people like it burnt. Seriously?!! read more

Their food is always fresh and good portions. Chicken dishes are moist and not dry/stringy. The Mongolian beef is excellent with tons of veggies. I wish they would make their crab Rangoons in the pouch style instead of in triangle shape. read more

Great Chinese food! Took a chance and placed an order. Ordered chicken mei fun, boneless spareribs, and a hot and sour soup. Wow, reminds me of the Chinese food from NYC. Got a lunch combo which comes with fried rice. In the past I've subbed white rice which is certainly cheaper and therefore better for them to serve. I asked if I could do that again, kid at the counter said yes. Then I said actually I'll take half and half, half white, half fried. He said they can't do that. I asked why? No explanation, just said they can't. I'm like just scoop half of the fried rice in and the other half white rice. Either of them come with this and he wouldn't do it. Never going back there again. This has been our go to chinese take out for quite a few years. Consistently good. They have the best Boneless Spare Ribs. They're not dried out and tough. The Singapore Noodles are great and usually have a nice spicy kick to them. I enjoy getting the chicken and mixed veggies made spicy. We have closer chinese places bit prefer to drive a bit further to go here. read more

Not bad. Wouldn't be my first choice though. Not a fan of peas and carrots in the rice, most places just put onions. bean sprouts, and egg. Sesame chicken was pretty good, the egg rolls tastes too much like cabbage. I waited 40 minutes for 4 items, one being sweet n sour chicken. Before I left I checked my food and the chicken was extremely burnt. I tried one and it crumbled and I couldn't even bite the chicken it was so burnt. Brought it back in to see if it could be remade since my wait time was insane, and they said "no that's how we make it and we aren't remaking it again". They gave my money back, but for a 40 minute wait and to have my favorite item burnt and couldn't even be remade? I don't recommend this place. Any other place would have remade it seeing how burn the food was. Very disappointed. First time trying them as well and their chicken did not look that way in the photos. read more

We just left this restaurant. We never have a problem with the food but NEVER GET THE PEAS AND CARROTS IN THE RICE in NY they don't put peas and carrots in rice. Ask for bean sprouts in the rice instead. So much better. 4 stars for the food. 0 stars for the guy in the front taking orders and giving you he food. He's RUDE! We ordered Curry Chicken and Onions and Happy Family. The store was clean and the order was filled quickly. They gave us two free egg rolls (over $20.00) and they where delicious. I liked that the egg rolls where not heavy. The Curry and Onions where delicious and the Happy Family was filled with plenty of meat, large shrimp, scallops etc. We will definitely order from here again and are so happy to have find this place. read more

It WAS really good NY style Chinese. We had been going there since they first opened. It WAS delicious. . It tasted best Monday-Thursday. The last couple months it just has been going downhill. Tonight was the last straw. Absolutely disgusting! -Homemade hot mustard was watery and not spicy. -the hot mustard packets were brown. -the fried rice was not at all like NY style fried rice. It was not even like any fried rice. The peas had freezer burn, the rice was very light in color. It was just basically boiled rice mixed with veggies. -ordered the General Tso's extra spicy, not even any of those spicy peppers in there like they used to put. -sweet and sour chicken very soggy. It was so disappointing and such a shame. We tossed the leftovers, which we usually would of heated up the next day. We've decided that we were not coming back anymore. Snowbird season is just beginning and I remember how much business they get during that time. I have a feeling after one try these snowbirds will not be returning. It's such a pity that this place fell apart. We have supported them from the very beginning. We will be getting our Chinese elsewhere from now on. I am not sure what happened to this place. Not worth the money. Chinese food now is so overpriced and all you get here no matter what you order is vegetables or noodles. Lo mein terrible, anything with pork, beef, and chicken has a few pieces and the rest loaded with vegetables. All food is tasteless. Never will go again. Rude. There is definitely a lack of costumer service skills at this place. I walked in and waited at the front area for someone to take my order. I was the only one in line and had to wait. NO one acknowledge that I was standing there. No one mentioned that they would be with me in a minute. The place was not that busy. There were 3 people in the restaurant waiting for their orders. The phone rang and was answered (right in front of me!) and that order was taken and put back to be filled. Then the person who answered the phone and took the order still didn't acknowledge that I was standing there. He went on doing other things. When I complained, he refused to acknowledge that how he handled the situation was WRONG. He told me that's how the business is run. No apology, only an argument with a costumer. Sad.
