I can't say enough good things about Sean and his work. He was easy to work with, very professional, and made me feel like I was photogenic. I don't usually feel photogenic, so the fact that I did says a lot about him and his ability to put his clients at ease. He took many shots, and I quickly found one I loved. I've been using it for my LinkedIn profile and virtually all professional situations ever since. That was maybe nine years ago? I should have written a recommendation back then but never got around to it. Today is the 20th wedding anniversary for my brother and sister-in-law, so Sean was top of mind. I've loved the photo for nearly a decade, and I still get compliments on it all the time. Hiring Sean to do my headshot was one of the best professional investments I've ever made. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Definitely not the easiest situation for any photographer. He did a beautiful job in a very short amount of time, a three hour cruise. He got all the standard wedding photos of the ceremony, and posed shots of the wedding party and friends. He then continued to shoot candid photos that were spectacular. At one point he noticed that the boat was passing under the Coronado Bay Bridge and hustled my bride and I up on deck for yet another once in a lifetime shot. Would I recommend Resolution Photography? Absolutely. At the time he was one of the most sought after wedding photographers in San Diego and in the past 9 years I'm sure he has gotten even better, if that's possible. I haven't had contact with Sean since he did our wedding, but I believe that credit should be given where due. Sean was all set up when we arrived on the boat, worked his butt off the whole time, and got the finished product to us in short order at a fair price. What more can I say except that he was a joy to work with and he got the best out of everyone he photographed!

There's nothing similar about any two weddings. At best a wedding is a snowflake of events designed…read morewith rock sediment. However, there are some core "components". One of those components was delegated to me ... photography. Since I randomly post food, drink and location photos on Yelp. Amy felt I was overqualified to take on this task. You already knew that I'm uniquely qualified to take on this challenge. Let's Go! The good news is that there are plenty of photographers to choose from in our area. But we were looking for a wedding photographer, not someone who's in the photography "anything" business. There's a difference, take a serious look at their website. Are there graduation photos of a six year old or family reunion photos or baby photos? I'm way to "Conservative" to keep someone from a legitimate business venture, but after a few initial calls with these professionals. We needed a wedding photographer. What we found was something more... we found someone that cared about our story, the how, the what, the when, of our relationship. We found someone who could explain why engagement photos were important, who taught us about color coordination, and a few "dance steps and poses" too. Our initial contact with Stephanie was like any awkward lunch date in High School. We enjoyed tacos, queso and laughs as we got to know each other. For Stephanie, she had client criteria too. She chose us as much as we chose her. Things that I believe will continue to set her apart are the micro details that two project managers like Amy and I appreciate ... cloth covered boxes with her initials, a wedding book of expectations and topics for us to discuss in preparation. Things that I appreciated, online billing process, and her contracts are online too. The other thing was her confidentiality and ownership of the digital photos and usage was clear and understandable. She's a professional from scheduling to the smallest detail. Amy and I have been consistently pleased with each step of the wedding photography process. We are so blessed that she chose us. I hope she chooses you.
