I sampled 10 different scoops in one day (about 5 were just mine!) I can't talk this up enough. I'm an ice cream fiend and this is the most amazing place to visit and definitely the best in La Rochelle, which has a lot of good ice cream parlours already ;-)

La statue imposante de Jean Guiton, maire de la Rochelle en 1628 à l'époque du siège de Richelieu, tourne le dos. En bas, autour d'anciennes gravures de la ville, des mamies discutent de la météo. A l'étage, dans sa salle climatisée, un couple d'amoureux s'échange des mots doux. Une petite glace, et la vie reprend.
