They told me I would have to come back because they had no record of my scheduling anything beyond a visit. I was furious because I cleared my day. They SNARKILY said they would listen to the call to see when the confusion came from. Great. I received a very contrite phone call shortly after explaining they listened to the call and found my paperwork in someone else file. I gave the second chance and things went OK. I scheduled my followup. Before the followup I had my Dr send over the results of my most recent EKG and blood work to streamline the process. I called their office and confirmed they received it. When I arrived they had no records. They also had the wrong insurance information on the form after I stood at the counter reviewing this information with them. You just know they were going to bill the wrong one and act surprised. Please save your heart and do not go here. It will cost you too much time and energy sorting out their job for them. Remember, you have a choice of physicians, don't tolerate poorly run offices or rude Drs.

Over 18 months with no concern for my loved one. Then, a cardiac event happened, a new team takes over and now all a sudden the Stern billing began monthly. The most infuriating part is they continued to bill even after confirming and communicating that we switched providers. The only communication for the "device check" was a bill. No future appointments in sight, and with a communication of another provider. Do better Stern and Dr Chui team!! Do better!!

i had been going to dr. bomb for at least 2 years, when he left st francis and came back i still…read morefollowed him. but, after my follow up visit with him yesterday 9/15/2026 i would not send my enemy to him. i had a account balance with his office and i thought it was worked out with him that i had made payment arrangements. i paid $150 3 weeks ago at a office visit, everything was cool, on my visit yesterday i was going to pay another $150. ms barbara the lady at the front desk said she had to check and see if that amount was acceptable, she came back and said they wanted me to pay $500, i said no, i'll pay $150, she said how about $400, i said no, $150. she said hold on i have to go check. she came back and told me they could'nt see me unless i had $400-500. i said ok, i'll just call dr. bomb on his cell and tell him what's going on. i dialed his number as i see him walking down the hall and this is what i said..."dr. bomb, this is trudy alexander, i am in your lobby now for my chf follow-up, but i was told i couldn't be seen unless i pay $400-500. you told me not to let money dictate your health, and you would work out a payment arrangement with me, this is what you told me, but if this is how you are going to run your office i will just go back to the office that you were at before and find another doctor. ok, thanks" i turned to ms barbara and told her it was not her fault and i left. i got down stairs and i thought i better go sign a release of information before i leave. when i got back, ms barbara said i was going to try to catch you so you could talk to dr. bomb but he went in bathroom and can you wait, so my nurse/co-worker was with me so we decided to wait. it was proably about 20-25 minutes, i told brandi he must have problems, ms barbara kept apologizing for the wait and she was standing right outside the bathroom door. all of a sudden the door opens, this mad man storms thru it and it's dr. bomb with papers in his hand. i was sitting in a chair in his waiting room, brandi was sitting right beside me, there was another patient waiting to be seen, he rushes to me shoves these papers at me and says...if that is what you want to do, you go right ahead and i will have my office send your records where ever you want and turn around and walked back thru the door. i looked at brandi, she looked and me and i said what the hell was that?!!!. now, mind you, i'm just released from the hospital a week ago from a heart attack, had all these test, came to get a game plan for the diagnosis congestive heart failure that i just got 2 weeks ago and the account balance was less that $900. so, when i pass the front desk i ask did he at least prescibed any meds. ms barbara said no i am sorry. i apologize to her. i have fired doctors before, but i have never been fired by a doctor. my sister a is a cardiac rn in louisville, ky, said he probably just saved your life by firing you!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL OR ETHICAL!!!!

On multiple occasions, I waited over an hour in the waiting room only to still be seen late. There were also times I waited an hour and was then told I needed to reschedule entirely -- with no meaningful explanation. Perhaps most frustrating, I showed up for appointments only to find out the doctor was not even in the office that day because he had surgery scheduled elsewhere. These are not isolated incidents; they reflect a practice that is consistently disorganized and dismissive of patients' time. More seriously, I had a cardioversion procedure performed on me without anesthesia or sedation. From what I understand, sedation is standard practice for this type of procedure. What made it worse was that the decision seemed to be driven not by my care, but by a disagreement the doctor had with other members of the medical team in that moment. He abruptly took the paddles and administered the shock without properly preparing me. It was a frightening and painful experience. Overall, I did not feel that my time, comfort, or well-being were a priority at any point. I would strongly encourage others to seek care elsewhere.
