After being in a different country for months (I am in a small city by the coast of Turkey, just coming to visit Istanbul) you could imagine my excitement seeing Shake Shack of all restaurants! I was craving a delicious burger and Shake Shack will always be good for that. It tastes exactly like the ones back home and has the same overpriced prices but it is what it is. Shake Shack's taste is unmatched and has such a fresh and juicy taste that I'll always put them at the top of my list for burger places. I am a fan of other items on the menu which I got but are not pictured- including the cranberry lemonade, cheese fries, and Oreo concrete. The staff was super friendly and did their best translating all the concretes on the menu to me since the menu was in Turkish. The wait wasn't too long and the food was hot and super fresh. Even if you're not craving American food but haven't been here I'd suggest you just try it! read more

I am a HUGE fan of having a really good Burger and any Burger-lover in this world knows that Shake Shak is a MUST try place, anywhere you are, as you will get addicted to it! Located in Istinye Park Mall, which is one of the most popular malls in Istanbul, due to its wide range on Restaurants, Fast Food places and shops, it is the perfect place to grab a quick bite out of heaven. The burgers are - well as Shake Shack is in NYC as well - amazingly mouthwatering and super delicious! I do recommend that a single burger is easier to eat, however, since the double really fits very hardly into a normal bite! :) The cheese fries and milk shakes are another attribute I adore and have every single time I eat here. If, however, one does not crave a burger but rather a really good ice cream, I DEFINITELY suggest that the Concretes should be tried out. Concretes are a bit like the Mc Flurry, with the Ice Cream having a more swirly and solid consistency. There are different types of Concretes but you can also create your own with the topping you desire ranging from Marshmallow Sauce to Fudge Sauce, Cookies, Chocolate Truffle chips, salted macaroons, Bananas and more! It is simply one of the most delicious Ice Creams I have had so far....that is, if you are not the traditional Ice Cream person who ONLY likes housemades and solid flavors. read more

Ok, I can truly say I am a Shake Shake connoisseur, as I have tasted their burgers in literally 90% of their NYC locations (including the ORIGINAL location) and even their newer location in Westbury, NY, as well as the University City location in Philadelphia, PA. Now that I've spelled out my street cred for y'all, I am obviously biased as I was a tourist, not a local, trying Shake Shack. Needless to say, for a person who tried this location literally only a day or 2 after I landed in Turkey, with barely no comprehension of the language or even how to use context clues yet on how to figure out what was on the menu, the staff here are some of the nicest Shake Shack staff I have met anywhere in the world. The wait staff changed our order three times because we didn't know what the sample custard was called, and we even met a member of the international ShakeShack development team! I am so saddened to write this review. I love Shake Shack. I LOVE IT.... in america. Maybe I am forgetting the prices in NYC but It can't be as expensive as it is here! or can it? Regardless, the taste just isn't the same. While it is very close, and even if they use the same ingredients shipped, it just isn't the same. Like other reviews I have seen, how do you justify the price? I was overjoyed when I heard Shake Shack was coming to Istanbul, and since it has been here I have only been once. It could be a combination of the grease, the price, and the travel... All of those combined doesn't have me coming back. But when I go to NYC, you better believe I will take a visit! read more

I really like the burgers and cheese fries at Shake Shack, I just can't justify the prices for the food they serve. I think its very high. I do think that people should try the restaurant at least once because it is that good of a burger. Don't forget to try the shake after! read more

This is an interesting little place. I like their concept, and I really like their burgers (although their conical shape makes them a bit hard to eat). Like other reviewers, it's hard to justify the price (@17tl for a simple cheeseburger), but it's similar to the prices at Carl's Jr or other top-quality fast food burger places. I wan't all that bothered by the pricing. I liked the fries, I liked the burger itself...very juicy and healthy seeming. I guess that's the idea. If you want something that's better than your run-of-the-mill McDonald's or Burger King next time you're in Istinye Park (and you have a little extra spending power), you might as well try it. There aren't that many good burgers in Istanbul, anyway. I would consider it better than most. read more

Very bad experience too expensive, there are better options mcdonalts and burger king is much better and cheaper never again

Tried the shakes as we were strolling through the istinye mall looking for somewhere to rest and have a drink. It was good, satisfied our general shake standards. Had the strawberry shake and the choc fudge a special of the day. Will look forward to try their burgers next time read more
