Could barely walk up the 6 house hill on our street to walk the dog and my legs would fell like lead walking up stairs. Was told my General Doctor to see a Cardiologist. I did and Dr G ran a bunch of tests and diagnosed A-Fib and possibly some other issues. She prescribed a series of medications. Also Scheduled a Heart Catheterization (Angiogram) 1st to eliminate other issues and I did not need any Stents. Then scheduled a CardioVersion with Tee where they performed an Electric Shock to my heart to get my Heart back in rhythm. This worked like a charm and within a month I am back up to 6 mile runs! Dr G is AWESOME! She systematically analyzed my condition and got me back on track. Very thorough and great follow-up. I highly recommend her!

Dr G saved my life - not sure how to make it any simpler than that. She noted an issue I was having, kept following up on it and took action when I needed it. When I got an infection in the hospital, I had to see another cardiologist as she was out of town. He told me to take Advil and come back...I did come back. Dr G could immediately see it was sepsis and got me to the ER and saved my life. While I was in the hospital, several doctors told me that She checked on me even when I was "somebody else's" patient. You can't buy this level of care and concern.

Technicians that operate the Echocardiogram, Carotid Ultrasound and Electrocardiogram are amazing. Very well trained and a wonderful bedside manner. Going for a check up can be stressful enough. But billing issues can really add to the visit. Not at Cardiology of Atlanta I've only had 1 billing issue and they were efficient in explaining the type of coverage I had and how it works. Dr Wilson is amazing. Never rushes through the visit, very thorough and explains all the test results in detail but in a way you can understand. Just a top notch Cardiology group from the time you walk in until the time you leave. So glad I have this team on my side.

As an insured, working American who pays taxes and health insurance premiums, I found it difficult to understand how basic items and routine services could be billed at prices that seem disconnected from reality. Patients don't comparison-shop during emergencies, and they shouldn't be financially punished for seeking care. The standard response is always, "That's just how healthcare works." But those prices are set by people. Leadership chooses the policies that determine what patients are charged. The medical staff earned my appreciation. The billing practices earned this review. The care that was extended by everyone doctor, nurse, respiratory therapist, social worker and later chaplain was nothing short of amazing. The new cafeteria was a hit. I had some delicious soup and it was much needed as hospitals are generally cold. The honor walk that I've seen online for strangers was a totally different experience being a part of. It was surreal and took my breath away. I will never ever ever forget the kindness shown to my family! Ever! Now we are left to mourn, but also with gratitude for the care we all received physically and emotionally.

I was misdiagnosed with Tachy/Brady Syndrome by 2 doctors from this practice. They gave me a…read morepacemaker that I didn't need. They should have just taken me off medication that they knew I was taking. They ignored my requests to adjust the pacemaker when I felt terrible. They kept pushing it off and telling me I would get used to it. My cardiologist suggested the PA adjust the pacemaker and she called the electrophysiologist and he told her not to adjust it. The lead was in the wrong place since day one. It had been a nightmare. Thankfully I have switched to a competent practice and will be getting my pacemaker out soon because it turns out I didn't need it.
