I have had this back pain for a few years and finally decided to try a chiropractor. A friend of mine told about her and sounded good. So I made an appointment. She was so much more than just a chiropractor I imagined. Well, I have never been to chiropractor, so I thought she will just push, pull, twist to fix whatever problems I have. She asked me so many questions I normally expect from a physician. She really wants to understand where your problems are coming from. Anyway, I love her idea of trying to address issues without using medications. Medications only covers up a problem, not fix it. After my first treatment, my spine immediately felt better. I no longer feel pain when I breathe deeply to stretch my spine. I made my second appointment also since it sounds like she can address other problems I am having... I started seeing Dr Jangi because I was pregnant, in pain because of a herniated disc, and wanted to see a webster certified chiropractor to ensure proper positioning of my baby. When I first went in, several of my toes were numb, I had days where I could barely walk, I couldn't stand upright, and couldn't sleep (and I wasn't even in the 3rd trimester)! I was quite a mess. She wasn't like other chiropractors I have been to in the past - the first session lasted an hour, and she was very through. I think I cried (from joy) after it, because for the first time in months I was able to walk without being in excruciating pain. After a few sessions, the feeling came back to my toes, and I was in less pain than I had been when I wasn't pregnant! As far as the webster's treatments, she is very knowledgable about mamas and babies, and fetal positioning. My first was posterior, so I wanted to make sure that didn't happen again - and with her help #2 was in the proper position the whole time. She will also treat your baby for free for an entire year after they are born! She has helped my little one with latch and reflux issues. I have been to many chiropractors in the past, some good, some not so good- Shanaz is one of the great ones. read more

Shahnaz is a miracle worker! I had horrible pain in my tailbone to the point where I couldn't sit down or bend over to pick something up. I started seeing Shahnaz when I was 5 month pregnant and had the usual aches and pains that comes with pregnancy. I continued to see her after having my baby until she moved to BC. I love the prenatal and postpartum care she provided - she is not only extremely knowledgeable, she is also very gentle and caring. I have seen a lot of chiropractors but she really got to know me, my lifestyle and offered lot of great advice. She is also very hands on and generous with her time and not a 10/20 min session and bye bye kind of chiro. And especially since I was pregnant, I would have sudden back aches and she was very flexible in scheduling me in. I called Dr Jangi to adjust the positions of my twins since both of them were breech at 32 weeks. It was right before Christmas, she managed to call me back and suggested that I start seeing another chiropractor right away. She called me right after she came back from her vacation and scheduled an appointment for me that week. Since I was already 34 weeks with twins, it was very unlikely they would turn, but Dr. Jangi was still very patient and encouraging, she showed me how to sit and how to exercise, my neck and back were much better(relaxed) after starting treatments with her, the swelling on my feet and ankles were gone too. Unfortunately, I had to end the treatment with Dr. Jangi earlier than expected because of contractions. Highly recommend Dr. Jangi, she knows what she is doing and she is so kind, caring and patient. read more
