Booked here a lot previously did my roots and full face wax with eyebrows and also got gel manicure done. On Friday I booked in for roots touch up eyelash extensions and full face wax. On the booking the price was $176.00. I have a 3month old son so spoiling myself happens every once in a blue moon, I was late, so thank you to the staff who allowed me to keep my appointment. But that's where it stopped, I had washed my hair that morning no one said not to but I was made to feel like washing my hair was a real problem and added more work for the staff member. If I had known beforehand I wouldn't of , obviously. Then came my lash extensions, the bed I laid on was so hard and uncomfortable I wasn't made comfortable either but just asked if I was okay, to which I kept saying no but she carried on anyway. She asked me for the length I wanted and if I had a pic as guidance the lashes I received weren't anywhere near the pic and she didn't listen to the length, she went with what she thought would be better. Then it was time to wash out my hair, which was done with conditioner because I had washed my hair that morning, this left dye on my forehead and back of my ears and neck. She blow dried it and straightened my hair all without putting any heat protectant and put nothing o my hair after it. My full face wax felt like torture, when she put the wax on my nose she didn't ask she just slapped it on and ripped it off with no pressure to the area was applied after the wax was pulled off from my face and it was honestly so sore and hot feeling. Then the threading brooo I'm old! my skin is sensitive,! I don't want threading! I'm paying for waxing for this reason so hence why I called it torture and she was on the phone whilst doing this, not noticing I was in pain.I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there and put ice on my face! So it came time to pay and it was $200 and she didn't tell me why all she said was are you paying with afterpay to which I said yes and she just pointed at the machine and that was it. This is for the WestCity branch. Terrible service. Lady had nil interest and was rough. Left hairs on than called for a replacement to take over. Promised to thread the remainder hairs but did not. Left to go to another company to finish thier / her mess. Thank she tried charging $45 where they previously charged $40. Sadly she lets the shop down where the Lincoln branch team is fantastic. I went there in the past and it was a pretty good massage except the guilt trip marketing near the end of my massage to buy more massage packs. I also recently received a massage voucher as a gift that a someone purchased for me and went to go use a couple months later and it turns out it had just expired by a week and sadly they would not budge at all on honoring it. Was pressured into spending more money. I went there just for a consultation and she did the consultation with me in the waiting area infront of everyone, I asked what the price was, and she quickly ushered me into a room. After the treatment, I was told I could pay per treatment, or pay for 8 treatments to get a discount, I said I just wanted to pay for the one, and would re-book when I knew my availability. She kept telling me I should purchase all 8, a total of $625, I said no. She then told me I needed to buy 2 lotions, $80 total, but she would give me a discount if I purchase the $625 package, I kept saying no, and just as she was about to type $625 in the eftpos machine I told her AGAIN I did not want to purchase the package. went there few times, twice my appointment time been changed, telling me that i got it wrong, im pretty on to my timings so twice it can't be me getting it wrong. half way through my facial the lady was replaced by another inexperienced one. she didn't do the job and missed the complementary head message. was also forced to purchase more message vouchers .
