We ended up getting the ceramic tint. For all our windows, it took about 3 hours. They gave us this time estimate and really did call us back to let us know it was finished at 3 hours on the dot. While we were waiting we walked quite far down the road before finding a crosswalk and making our way to the greenbelt! Took my Excursion in to get tinted. I had called around to many shops, and almost considered doing…read moreit myself since many shops wanted over $1000 to tint it because of how big it is. I called the Ultimate Tint Shop, and was super happy with the quote they gave me. I showed up at the appointment time, and felt naturally at home. The tinter was amazing to work with and explained the benefits of tinting, as well as the laws around it. I got my tuck back after tinting, and holy crap it was done beautifully! No issues with bubbling, and I was told how to care for it during curing. Fast forward: My truck stays cooler since I got hte ceramic window tint and it keeps the temps lower. My seats are no longer burning me, and it isn't like getting into an oven at the end of the day. Best part: I can touch my steering wheel without getting burned. Also: I was able to explore options that I wanted to work towards for my truck like upgraded stereo, subs, and remote start! They even assured me that they could do Diesel and still allow the glow plugs to warm before cranking. Which is really important in the winter. If you need tint, stereo, or remote start this is the place to go.
