The property is so well taken care of with an absolutely breathtaking view of Kelowna and the Okanagan Lake. Manicured trees add a unique flair to the golf course. The property is surrounded by orchards and vineyards, making it a one-stop location for incredible backdrops. Tamara is as professional as you can get. She has been with the Harvest for many years, making her knowledgeable of the venue and weddings. She is prompt to reply which is not always the case with Okanagan wedding venues. You can tell she is passionate about her couples and weddings at the Harvest, ensuring everything runs perfectly. The food is also unbelievably amazing! The chef takes so much pride in his meals, from the presentation to the quality and taste. Whether plated or buffet, the food really is second to none. With the Harvest offering a stunning ceremony location, a large indoor reception space with wood beams and natural light, and so many dreamy photo backdrops, the need to head off the venue at all on your wedding day is not required. Before going in, I made a point to read the posted rules and didn't see anything stating that this type of swing wasn't allowed. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn when the owner came out of the clubhouse, yelled at my child, and threatened to ban him. It was handled in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh, especially for a kid trying something new. This interaction completely changed what should have been a fun, memorable first experience. Instead, my son left feeling embarrassed and discouraged, and now has no interest in trying golf again. On a positive note, the facility itself is clean and the staff we interacted with (aside from the owner) were friendly. That said, based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this place for families or kids who are just starting out and learning the game.

From the…read moreceremony on the edge of the canyon organized with Ruthanne's help to the golf cart shuttles (5 Passenger carts) to the reception at the clubhouse and a delicious dinner buffet, everything was meticulously planned and the evening went on without a hitch. Thanks to Ruthanne the events mgr. and Jack the catering mgr. who made this event as special as it was hoped it would be. We will be back and next time to golf.

They do this on a couple of holes. I figure the course was here first, so buy some nets! Anyways that's my only real beef. If you're not feeling up for a full round of golf (which can be difficult on a hot summer Kelowna day) this course is a more than adequate alternative. It has some water hazards, sand traps and a good variety of very different holes. My two fav are: Hole 1: you are tempted to try and hit over a lake to get an easy second shot to the hole but are usually best off avoiding the water. Hole 7: hit off the top of a very high cliff to the green below, choose your club carefully or you may find yourself hitting the people in the next tee box!

We were a party of 4 and were told (after we paid) that…read moreit was expected that we would be done in 1.5 hours for 9 holes. 2 in our party are over 85 yrs old. We skipped a hole and let another party of two go ahead of us. When we were through the manager questioned me about what time we started, then informed me that we took too long. First off for a beginners golf course 1.5 hours for 4 people is a little unreasonable, further more there should be signage posted to say that you are expected to be done in 1.5 hours. Having the manager approach me when we were finished just added insult to injury. Please note this was not on a busy weekend, it was a weekday morning. Ruined our family golf outing. I won't be returning.
