To use the word ministries in their name is an insult to the church!! I've heard teachers there screaming at the kids in the 4 year old class and belittling them. My child was scared of some teachers. The time my child was at for kids only was the most he's ever been sick. Constant stomach viruses, flu, and sinus infections. The staff here also seem to very unprofessional and show favoritism to children and parents. I would never recommend For Kids Only in Trussville to any parent wanting a safe and healthy environment for their children.

When we got there, there was no one at the front desk and we waited and after no one acknowledged us, I stepped into the common area. We were greeted (and i use that term loosley) by the someone who I later found out was the owner. She was not happy that we were there and she was not pleasant. She stated that she didn't schedule appointments, only walk ins.... so whoever answers the phone and the owner apparently didn't communicate that we were coming. Needless to say, if you have a 18 month old.... she won't have an availability until December ( which is what I was told). She did motion for and say "just come on" but from her demeanor I was over her and we left. I'm not sure if she just has terrible customer service or if she was having a bad day or of she was annoyed with her worker for scheduling our appointment, there is a way to handle people appropriately and she did not

New playgrounds, with separate play areas for bigs and littles. 3. shaded, smaller play area that is just for toddlers. 4. Plenty of caretakers, and classes are always properly attended (we had an issue with this at another care provider). 5. Large, indoor gym for play during inclement weather. 6. Well-planned, developmentally appropriate lessons, lots of fun activities that my little loves. 7. Did I mention that the staff is caring, warm, open, and communicative? 8. School is organized and efficiently run. 9. Lunch is lunch - no organics or vegetarian options, but otherwise satisfactory, a lot like public school menus. Haven't had any complaints from my little about the food. For Secular moms: The curriculum is definitely Christian, and students attend a brief chapel service every morning, so expect your little to come home singing "god songs" and talking about Jesus. Religious messages are prominent in every classroom (as one would expect in a church-sponsored school).
