I've bought bulk ammo from SGAmmo a few times now and figured it's time for a review. Not the absolute lowest prices, but when you buy from SG you get what you are promised, quickly, and at very fair prices. Just picked up 1000 rounds of 45 ACP and the prices were lower than local stores, free shipping and the shipment arrived in two days. Outstanding, read more

Good prices and great customer service (quickly, by email). I had a tricky issue with an order's not going through (on a Saturday). I emailed, and had a quick reply that day, stating that they would work through my problem on Monday. Early Monday they had it sorted out and shipped. I found doing business with them was great. They have an excellent selection of ammo and very good prices, made better by the fact that orders over $200 ship free. I'm thoroughly pleased with this company -- highly recommended. read more

This is and has been my go to place to order ammunition for several years. Ammunition is expensive and the shipping really adds to the bill as ammunition is also very heavy. SGAmmo gives you free shipping if you order two hundred dollars or more of their ammunition. They have a huge selection of rifle, pistol, shotgun and rimfire ammunition. I really like that they have dozens of manufactures to choose from and they even stock subsonic ammo. Subsonic is great for those of us that "give a hoot, shoot on moot". ie, shoot suppressed. My orders have never been lost or delayed. I've never been incorrectly billed nor been shorted on my purchased/received an incorrect order. I have spent thousands here over the years and it's been money well spent. This is a family owned and operated business and the attention to detail shows. This place is really good if you need to locate hard to find ammo for older rifles like Mausers etc. read more

Bought several times from these guys. More than competitive prices, fast service and timely receipt. Won't buy from anyone else!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I placed a bulk 9mm ordered on a Thursday night and received my package that Monday morning. SGammo was very speedy and communicative with my order status/progress. They went above and beyond packaging the ammo to insure safe travel and no damage. I received precisely what I ordered and Their prices are more than reasonable, even better than any other major online retailer that I found. I will definitely be ordering from SGammo in the future. read more

Being a small business owner myself we certainly wanted to do the same. We are not disappointed! Our items arrived quickly, well packaged, and worth every penny! We will certainly be purchasing from here again and choosing more variety next time too! read more

Just received my first order. Prices were pretty good and the shipping charge (free) was spectacular and worth noting, given how much this stuff weighs. Despite having different types and denominations of ammo in the same shipping box, it was impressively packed by a very anal-retentive person who clearly had experience with this. These guys are absolutely going to be my new go-to ammo source. read more

Very fast service. Always have great deals at very reasonable prices. It's my "go to" place for ammunition.

I was lucky enough to get in on the "ONE" day ammo "Buy On Line" here in CA. In a hurry I butchered my address. However I did contact them by email and they FIXED IT..;) Easy Peasy and I"m So very very happy recieved the delivery yesterday. Outstanding customer service! Thankj you...;) read more

Ordered bulk 5.56 and 7.62 ammo from them in the past and couldn't be happier. Prices are reasonable and on the lower end compared to other stores. Fast shipping via UPS - the order arrived across half of the United States in less than a week after ordering. They are well packaged as well - multiple layers of packages with foams. I'll definitely use them for future orders. Just too bad in CA an FFL is now needed for ammo transfer, which will incur additional cost. read more

Great service and delivery again. Ordered Thu delivered Sat in TX. WOW! They under promised over delivered again. Very nice. And the price of ammo is getting lower. Not as good as when I first started buying from them but it has been a few years, a pandemic and inflation. Life in the 21st century. read more

I ordered a thousand rounds of Winchester 9MM NATO 124gr and got the best price on the net. It's to bad the state I live in has to have their tax money on internet sales or my order would have been even cheaper! My compliments to your shipping department for the fast shipping of my order. read more

This is a fantastic place to get your ammo. They have a huge selection of just about any caliber and its hard to beat the prices they offer. Having ordered a few times, its quick and convenient. The items ordered were exactly what I received and they arrived in timely manner. When you are looking at surplus ammo, dates are important and they do a great job of breaking down when the ammo was manufactured as well as how it been stored etc. They also well send a few rounds downrange so you can get a report on how the ammo is doing. In addition to the surplus ammo they also carry all the major brands as well. In particular it is quite difficult to get 22LR these days in my area and they offer tons of choices. The only drawback for us in California is that come 2018 we will no longer be able to by ammo online.......... read more

I bought a lot of ammo from SGAMMO in the past, But will NEVER buy from there again, even when prices go back to normal. They are PRICE GOUGING the hell out of the ammo. Go to Target Sports USA. I have also bought alot from TSUSA, and yes. Their prices have gone up due to demand, but nothing like SGAMMO. Also you get FREE SHIPPING from TSUSA for buying a 1000 rounds or more. Just stay the hell away from sgammo read more

I ordered some ammo at a great price on 09-08-21 at around 10:30 am and it said it can take up to 5 days to ship out due to high demand of products and I received a email update on the day of that my order was already being shipped out via ups and I can't believe that I received my order today 09-09-21 about 32 hours later just amazing accurate and package really well thank you SG Ammo I will be a regular customer for now on... read more

Again, the people at SGAmmo.com illustrates how to do business during normal times, let alone during this covid situation. I was up at dark thirty attempting to get an order in and was not doing well due to operator headspace (entirely mine). I sent an email to them and they responded before 7 am with a simple fix. I completed my order quickly and easily. Further, their prices are still reasonable unlike so many. To those of you who think they are "overpriced", you obviously do not understand what going on now. Thank you, to all of the folks at SGAmmo.com. read more

Excellent prices and fast service. If you are looking for Remington Golden Saber, or Tokarev (7.62x25) new/old stock, ammo they are probably going to be your best deal out there after shipping. A plus is SGAmmo only lists the things in stock so you will not have to query them just to see what's on the shelf. If it is shown with a quantity available then it is in stock. BTW, no in person walk up orders or telephone customer service. But their email response was quick for orders in the past. They even emailed back in the evenings when you might expect no answer. Business the way you expect it to be for a low priced internet retailer. Thanks Sam! read more

I try to buy as much ammunition as i can locally but for bulk purchases and for military surplus ammo I've found no better retailer than SG Ammo. They are also where I buy magazines and other needed firearms supplies. Great people never once did i feel like i was being talked down to like what happens at times in big box spring goods stores. And in over twelve years of buying from them this is the only E-Commerce retailer whom I've never needed to return or exchange items. That speaks volumes to their focus on customer satisfaction. Try to buy locally from your smaller gun shops but at times i know we can't so i highly recommend SG Ammo. read more

My order was shorted a box of ammo and I've sent 2 separate emails to SGAmmo with no responses at all. Obviously their customer service isn't very good. I am writing this review strictly on their online sales. This is the second time I have ordered 7.62x39 ammo from their website and I have been a completely happy customer. Ordered on a Friday night. They processed the order on Saturday and shipped within a week. I asked them to overbox the case and not only did they overbox it, they blacked out their name "SGAmmo" on the adress label. That is above and beyond, I will definitely do business again. read more

Got an e-mail from them late on a Tuesday afternoon saying they had some ammo I wanted to buy in stock. Got an e-mail saying order is being prepared for shipping. (Right! I've ordered from many places, got a quick reply saying that very thing, then waited and waited....yeah, firearms and ammo shortages, COVID, and all that.) The next AM (Wed) I got an email from SGA that my order shipped, along with UPS tracking number. Early the following Friday afternoon UPS dropped off the package. SUPER FAST shipping! Great service. Was looking for 5.56 ammo from various sites, after a horrible misleading online in stock problem with atlantic tactical, I've become skeptical of sites i haven't heard of that sell ammo, especially at decent prices during these crazy times. Initially came across SGAMMO, read a few reviews and said what the heck, they had some PMC xtac 5.56 in stock for around $16 for a 20 box so I ordered several, it took less than a week for the ammo to arrive, despite them informing that all orders could possibly take a few days to process due to high demand. That was amazingly awesome! the customer service through email kept me informed when I had questions. Definitely will be doing business with them again when ammo hunting. I really like the fact they post their inventory in real time meaning the ammo you see on their site is what they have on hand so if you see it order it! UPS shipping cost was fair too! read more

Absolutely some of the best prices you will find on premium or surplus ammo. They ship quickly, and my orders have arrived as represented. Very upset. No coustomer service "It was a good experience till recent purchase. It was a defective ammo "Wolf .45". Few emails in order to contact SGAmmo, few reviews, they even didnt post those. So , if you bought defective ammo, nobody going to response. this is your problem. Even though, I did buy a lot of ammunition from SGAmmo and they price are the best, but you have no customer service, no customer support, nobody responding to your emails and if you willing to criticize them, they are not going to post your review on they web page. Recently, I bought defective .45 bulk of ammunition, and this is not $20. Nobody willing even talk to you. You may keep defective Wolf .45 and may be exchange for eggs in the future. Every third one are jammed . and this is brand new K&H USP.45 Expert. Which is working right out of the box. Alright , Thank you SGAmmo. You just earn another $300.00 on deffective ammo. " read more
