After some pushing, explaining we wouldn't be there long, they reluctantly, sat us. (geez!) we went inside to pick our food. The waiter stood uncomfortably close and was impatient with any questions we had. The white wine came, it was mediocre. The calamari came shortly after and was nothing special. We were not offered a second drink, even though not a single person came to the restaurant while we were there. Bad service, mediocre food and over priced.

However what makes this place special for me is that on top of classics one will find specialities for its season. The kitchen produces not only local cuisine but also ideas from nearby countries. Your table can be filled with mezes from all over he Mediterranean. Id say go there hungry and ready to pay. Ask for the recommended special mezes and order yourself a good fish. Crack open a bottle of raki and enjoy a lovely evening with a special one or group of friends. Another aspect that I found incredible was that the restaurant has ready offers to take you home with a taxi all the way to districts in izmir and even to cesme.
