My 3 year old son started to run sideways and his right foot was sought of flopping. He started…read moreclimbing stairs using his left leg only. When I would place his right foot on the next step he almost didn't have enough strength to lift himself and I had to assist him. An Orthopedic, after xrays and examination, determined that in his opinion my son had Cerebral Palsy and referred him to Neurology along with Physical Therapy. My son underwent brain MRI, Genetic Testing, etc but nothing was conclusive. I decided to take my son to Dr Braglia who simply examined my son's spine and determined a considerable amount of misalignment and slightly twisted pelvis, that anyone would THINK an Orthopedic should have discovered upon examination. Dr Braglia thereupon performed his spinal manipulation from Head to toe on my son. After the first adjustment, my son ran perfectly straight, the floppy right foot disappeared, and he climbs steps normally Left, Right, Left and Right again. After being told my son was going to suffer the rest of his life with Cerebral Palsy only to have Dr Braglia adjust him ONE TIME to have his mobility normal again. Words aren't enough to explain the IMPORTANCE of Chiropractic Medicine to be entwined with the normal growth of children. I possess videos of before and after one adjustment. It is amazing, and I will alway regret that I did not include Chiropractic Medicine for my son since his birth.

Dr. Freed is fabulous! I was very skeptical about the chiropractic field in general when my mom…read morestarted encouraging me to see him during my pregnancy. I had injured my sciatica, was very limited on medications I could safely take, and had even been on multiple days of bed rest. Dr. Freed and his wife, who manages the office, really worked to get me back on my feet and manage the pain. I continued seeing him periodically after giving birth and believe that I always walk out the door in much better shape than I arrived. Dr. Freed has done wonders for my mother, who has a bad back and also has undergone shoulder surgery. More than any other doctor locally, I feel like he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. Their prices are reasonable even if your insurance doesn't cover their services, although the office does accept most forms of insurance. They are very attentive, and I have always been accommodated within 24 hours, almost always the same day, when I have called and been in pain.

Dr. Hom consistently asks…read morefor details of the problem(s) and solicits feedback during and after the session so the problem(s) can get fixed. He is generous with his time and knowledge. I have never felt like Dr. Hom was annoyed or judging me for short-comings (ex: not doing some exercises one week). I have only waited once (for 3-5 minutes) to check in, transition to new activities, or pay out, and that was because another patient had some important questions for him. [Now that I think of this, the only other place in healthcare where I don't usually wait is with my N.D.... Rarely waiting in healthcare is SO RARE!] After prescribing helpful exercises at home, I also appreciated his female assistant reviewing these with me while he went on to work with another client. I consistently feel GREAT after a session with him. Greg Hom is a QUALIITY individual, TOP-NOTCH professional and has a heart to serve the New Haven community.
