My package was never received. When I reached out to support I was instructed to check with the post office. After doing so, the post office explained to me that Sewing Parts Online would have to file a claim for the misdelivered package and that it would be no issue for them since the package is under the $100 insured maximum. When I reached out to Sewing Parts Online with this information I was told that they would not help. Apparently this is an issue a lot of other buyers have been having as well. read more

I placed an order that arrived with issues, and since then I've received zero response despite multiple attempts to contact them. I've sent several emails, filled out their website contact form repeatedly, and called their customer service line numerous times -- complete radio silence on every channel. Ordered fabric here and never received it. I placed my order specifically because I needed the fabric by a certain date, and I checked the estimated delivery time carefully before purchasing. It has now been almost two weeks, and the package still has not arrived. When I contacted the store for help and requested a refund, they told me to send the package back--a package I never even received. When I reached out to customer service their response was "items ordered on the weekend may be delayed". I responded, they only mailed it USPS priority, they didn't even mail is next day. I have ordered from Sewing Parts Online before, and saw that they have a Facebook page. When I learned they were opening a sewing machine and fabric store, I was excited to learn that it was fairly close to where my son lives in TN. So when I was there over Christmas, I was able to go to the store! The visit to the store was wonderful! I was fortunate enough to meet Bob, who does a lot of their tutorials on FB and YouTube. The store itself was clean and they have a lot of sewing related items available. They also have a huge selection of fabrics, not to mention their online selection. I bought things that I have always wanted and thought that they were well priced. I got a wool pressing mat, some needles for one of my machines, 7 yards total of fabric, and a small iron which will be perfect for the seams of a quilt! From entering the store til the time I left, I was welcomed and told to ask if I needed any help. The cutting tables were great, they cut well and don't skimp when cutting, making sure the fabric was was lined up properly. And in the back of the store , where the cutting is done, there are bolts and bolts of discounted fabrics! Those prices were even better than expected! When I checked out I got to pick a bag of some fabrics, and that was unexpected. Some fun pieces that I know will get used! It was a lot of fun and everyone was so polite and kind! I wish I had read these reviews before I placed an order for a "guaranteed" to work product. I ordered bobbins that did not work in my machine. The bobbins from this company were not the same thickness of plastic and the machine would not wind a bobbin or sew with one after thread was added by hand. I was past their return process but from reading other reviews it sounds like it may not have mattered anyway. Buyers beware. read more

Ordered a "universal fit" exten table for a Babylock and did not fit. went thru return process and in time before shopping back had covid and missed the window by 30 days. Not realizing this, paid $30 to return only to be told they will not process and i will have to pay for them to even ship back unused completely resellable item. Asked to speak to supervisor and was chided for not asking for an extension they may have honored and simply repeating policy over and over. When i asked to speak to someone else she laughed and said that owner would enforce policy even more than she would so if anyone felt it warranted a call back, they would. I am not impressed with this company. After hearing negative things about this store owner i had given them a second chance and took my sewing machine in. First off the owner yelled at me from across the store about using cheap thread, which I am aware of and they told me it would take 2 weeks to fix. I called multiple times to check in the status of my machine and as I rounded week three of waiting they told me they couldn't fix part of the machine. I asked if he could fix the major issue and leave the minor one alone because I could still use it regardless. He bluntly told me that it wasn't worth his time and it wasn't store policy to fix only partially. Not once was I called to come pick up the machine or that it even couldn't be fixed. I use my sewing machine to produce extra income so already have I been down for three weeks I now have to tote it elsewhere to be fix corectly. If you live in Dickson take your machine to Granny B's or anywhere else. I will not be taking anything else to this store or buying any of their products. I was treated rudely not once but twice and the way they conduct business is terrible. read more

After searching online for a walking foot for my aging Singer machine, I found that Sewing Parts Online had the part I desired for a reasonable cost. In few other sources I found, the part wasn't designated as a Singer part (which I wanted rather than another manufacturer). After placing my order on the easy to use order process, I received confirmation from them. My order was received in a timely manner, was packaged well with a receipt, and was fully operational. Ordered a bobbin case that was guaranteed to fit and work. It didn't. After ending up taking the machine to a repair shop that fixed the problem, the tech said the bobbin case I had received was made in Taiwan and was slightly off which made it not work. When I contacted SPO to ask for a refund, they wanted pics of an "attempt to install" and questioned why the part did not work. I just wanted a REFUND for a $20 item that did not work. I told them I would just eat the cost and learn a lesson. Never again will I order a part from them and I will always recommend my friends to never use this place. read more

I ordered parts 12 days ago and have received no parts, no explanation for why I have no parts, and no response to the inquiry I submitted on their website, 2 days ago, asking where my order is. First of all the other review really does not make sense, but you probably already figured that out! All I do know is that if you need a vacuum this is seriously the place to go no matter how far you have to drive. George who is the vacuum salesman really knows his stuff. You do have to look past his demeanor, he is a bit blunt, but hang in there you will get quality service for the lifetime of your vacuum. The majority of his vacuums are made in the US and he services them for free! They even have a Dyson that he will show you in a legitimate comparison is really inferior. Don't expect Walmart pricing, but you really do get what you pay for in terms of quality and service. read more

After a short delay because they were holing my order for a back ordered part. I said to cancel the back ordered item and I received the rest of my order in a few days. I had to call to find out a item was back ordered and that's why my ordered hadn't shipped. So that's the only thing I'd say they should change. Notify someone if a item is back ordered so they can decide if they still want it and if they would like you to ship the rest of the order. I'd order from them again. Beware of this store. I ordered several vacuum cleaner parts through their internet site and the next day got an email confirmation that the order had shipped with free postage. When it arrived however, the order had been reduced and I was charged shipping. When I called, the customer service rep was extremely rude and argumentative, and made no attempt whatsoever to meet my concern.
