I've been getting car repairs from Leon's Auto Repair over the years, and I have always been…read morepleased with the service. I have heard good things about his work from any local car place I've talked to. Leon is honest. His diagnoses of car issues are skilled and accurate. Before I bought a used car recently, he evaluated it free of charge, and caught an issue that another mechanic had missed. Leon goes above and beyond the call of duty. He has fit my car into his schedule quickly to do brief check-outs and diagnoses at no charge, though he is very busy. He is easy to communicate with because he is direct, respectful and patient. Cars are not my forte, and I've never been talked down to, or experienced condescension.

I got on a standard Google Map search and Meyer's popped up first. Thankfully, it was 4 miles away, so we crawled into the shop, as carefully as we could, and they got us right in and fixed the problem in fewer than 30 minutes. Super fast, incredible friendly, and affordable service. This shop was an absolute godsend. Oh, and while we were waiting, we even got to snuggle with their beagle puppy who was sitting on a table at the front of the reception area. Thank you so much, Meyer's Auto in Monona, Iowa.

First off, Tony Darling is a saint among mechanics. His customers know that. Some even bring him…read morecookies as an extra thank you to go along with their payment check. I brought my car to him and said there was front end shake. That all the tires had been recently balanced. Up on the lift he could see that the axle joints were shot. He ordered new ones and replaced the old ones. I was glad to get the old ones replaced -- but the shake was still there. I will never do self-analysis of a car's problem again. After Tony drove the car yet again, he felt the shake was more in the rear. The more I thought, the more I remembered that only the front wheels had been balanced. He balanced all four wheels and the shake is gone and his fees are very fair. --Bob Modersohn, Lansing, Iowa
