Teachers range from decent to outright lazy, with too many phoning it in while students learn next to nothing. Academics are abysmal (bottom 50% in the state, terrible test scores), resources are chronically short due to massive budget deficits and upcoming cuts, and extracurriculars are basically irrelevant.
