rooms are very outdated and while restaurant food was above average the servers on our last night were non-existent and NO ONE wants them smelling like cigs when they come to the table. It seems unless you're a racer or team members of racers they could care less. One nice day front desk person, but management is absent or more concerned about the events than the hotel guests. Bathrooms are terrible, toilets 8" off the floor, rusted door frames no fans for vents. Room floors were dirty. I came to Seven Sebring Raceway Hotel to see the two days of Porsche racing with only Porches involved in the races. It is located on Sebring International Raceway which is a true race track holding all sorts of motorsport races including the Mobil 1 Twelve Hour. As the first race here was held in 1950, it's one of the oldest continuously operating tracks in the United States. I ended up staying at the Seven Sebring Raceway Hotel also known as Sebring International Raceway Hotel in room 417 which is right on the race track with a balcony overlooking its famous hairpin turn. The room I had was great. It was clean, well-furnished and with the best race track view anyone could ask for. Paid $1540 for two people to access Club Seven during 12 hours of Sebring for three days. Served the food buffet style and none of the food was hot. Pretty certain if a state food inspector had come by, would have shut the whole buffet down. Nothing like lemon chicken that is completely white and room temperature. Same for pasta. Same for rice. Did the Club Seven last year and the food was great. Not certain what happened. If the open bar is where all of the money goes, they should charge a few bucks for the drinks and improve the quality of the food. Food poisoning waiting to happen. Going to have to think long and hard about whether we will do this again next year. read more

The bathroom was dirty, covered in hair from previous guests, the toilet and sink and shower all look so sloppily cleaned, it's gross. Smudges and handprints all over the sliding glass door to the balcony. Dust all over the top of the AC unit. Floor feels gritty and not properly swept/vacuumed/mopped. I would give this hotel 5 stars but there are some things they can definitely work on, like the smell when you first walk in the place. Besides that, I was actually very shocked that this hotel so far from everything was so nice and accommodating. The staff was amazing! The ladies at the bar & restaurant were so pleasant. Made sure we were happy with our food and drinks and kept checking on us. The front desk ladies were also very nice! Rooms were kinda renovated and bathroom was also nice. If i was to go to the area again, i would stay here again and make sure i use the pool and maybe check out the racetrack as well. read more

Had steak for two @ $55 - steak was thin, overcooked (asked for medium rare got medium well) but the capper was LOTS of salt all over it. Salad was $6 extra and the only included side was 'truffle fries'; however, the meal came without them. when we asked about it, we were told that we didn't get them because we used a coupon (apparently a special that includes a bottle of wine) so we didn't get the bottle or the fries, only a bill for $100. I stayed here for 2 nights to evacuate from Hurricane Milton. The staff were amazing, kind and calm through all the chaos! The hotel took a beating from 80+ mph winds, but kept all 123 rooms and their occupants safe. As they are pet friendly, there were so many dogs on the property (I brought 3 with me!) and somehow we all managed to not hear barking all the time. I would definitely recommend this place to vacationers, race guests or anyone looking to get away. As stressful as those 2 days were, I felt compelled to share the positives that came with it. In the middle of nowhere....old and in severe need of renovations....no towels in room and absolutely no amenities...Restaurant and bar are not open they said there weren't open on Monday's but actually there have been closed all week......wouldn't come back next time I have to stay in Sebring.....this place sucks!!!! read more

I come to Sebring every couple of months for the NASA race events for my business. We always stay here. If you are coming for the track then this is the place to stay as it's right on the track. You can see the cars from many of the rooms and the pool and restaurant. The rooms are decent. Clean and have recently been updated. The only thing I don't like is they have the while liquid soap dispensers instead of actual bar soap which I hate, but it seems most hotels are going this route. The staff is always friendly and they usually have free breakfast. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but its free and they do have real eggs, bacon, sausage etc. I have never dinned at the restaurant but I hear it's decent. If you are here to visit the actual town then the hotel may be a bit out of the way however for the track it's great and would highly recommend it. read more

This morning when checking my credit card statement I found a 120.00 charge, upon investigation I am being charged for stealing four pillows. Where do I start. We got here and we got two rooms that were not ready at first so we had to go back to the front desk twice. Apparently they were not sanitized per Covid procedures. Once we got the room that was "clean" we walked in and it was far from that. There bugs in the bed, we killed a roach that was running around, and the bathroom was disgusting. Needless to say they did not sanitize anything. We had to get the manager to come up and clean the bathroom herself, the toilet seemed like someone had pissed all over it and no one cleaned it, see image. We ended up leaving earlier and They said they would refund us a night since we did not stay the two nights we had planned for and they did not even do that, couldnt be in that room any longer. Hi. I have stayed at Chateau Elan for many years. Most friendly attentive staff you can wish for. A few have become life long friends. Indra (The rooms department manager) can never be more helpful or kinder. She has been there for many years now so look out for her and say hi. The hotel manager, Reinhard, is delightful. Have known him over 15 years. The hotel has had a full refurbishment soon to be finished and is just lovely. I ate a steak in the Hotel restaurant a few days ago which kicked the ass of a ribeye I had at the Capital Grille a few days prior. Hot, tasty and being Medium rare, quite an undertaking. Sometimes I forget how hood the restaurant is, I defy anyone to find one better in Sebring. So say hi to Reinhard too. Originally from Nuremberg Germany. He knows quality and service. We told you this morning that we had water coming through our ceiling and needed a new room. Your person said, we'll get maintenance to check it out you don't need a new room(there were rooms available at this time) got back to the hotel at night to no more water, ok cool they fixed it ,it was toilet water btw the person in line behind us this morning confirmed they were in the room above and the toilet was overflowing. It is now 12am and I'm woken to the sound of literal pee raining down in the bathroom on some of our stuff so I go to the front desk to find a very nice but ultimately helpless man telling me we have no more rooms I just booked the last one (they were right there infront of me checking in) and no maintenance people here until 6 am so I'm to accept that my stuff is covered in pee and will continue to be for bare minimum 6 more hours, bathroom smells like pee, you have no rooms now when you did this morning and now we are stuck in the pee waterfall room.. what a joke. Absolutely ridiculous handling of the situation and pardon my pun piss poor customer service. I used to speak very highly of this hotel thinking it was one of the better ones we stay at on the race schedule. I will now tell every person who could ever possibly stay here this story. read more

We always have the best service, our room is always clean and they will accommodate you with any requests you may have. We always get the best view and place to relax after a long day. This hotel is perfect when you are coming to the track. It is not some super fancy place but it's pretty good as super convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, the rugs are clean the bathrooms are remodeled. The pillows on the beds are super soft and delicious. Their is a restaurant and bar downstairs that are pretty good. The food is pretty decent and priced well. If you are ordering drinks I wouldn't order anything super fancy. Stick with beer, wine or hard liquor. Nothing mixed that takes multiple mixers. The food is pretty good too, especially if you don't want to drive anywhere far. Everything is pretty far from here so the hotel is very convenient. I've ordered from the regular menu... steak actually and it was pretty good. Remember you aren't at a steak house so be realistic. I've also ordered from their late night menu which is the bar food. The mozzarella triangles are huge and super good. They come out really hot and filled with cheese. Also had their chicken tenders and French fries which you can never go wrong with. The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are always super friendly and accommodating. Last stay we had to cancel the day of and they did us the favor did not charge us anything. Character, history and location have kept this hotel from getting a 2 star rating. Mediocre food, chipped paint, stained dirty carpet, slow elevators, and odd smells were tolerated.... Now, under new management, the hotel is getting the badly needed upgrades, slowly but surely. The and bar and restaurant menus have also improved. If I could give zero star, I would. I made a reservation months before my travel date. Five days before the arrival date, I was told they might have to book me at a holiday inn express because they were overbooked. No apologies or detailed explanation. Then, four days before, I was told that I was ok and my reservation would be honored. Then, three days before, I called to confirm and also to make a spa reservation. I was told they need to confirm the reservation with the manager again. Then, two days before, I received a voicemail saying they wouldn't honor the reservation because they were overbooked. I called and they confirmed this but they would put me up at a holiday inn express. Again, NO APOLOGIES OR ATTEMPT TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. I told them I didn't want them to charge me higher rates just to put me up at a holiday inn. Then I had to get them to agree they would NOT charge me a cancellation fee since they charge a cancellation fee for reservations not cancelled at least 48 hours before the arrival date. All of this for a reservation I made MONTHS in advance. Again, NO APOLOGIES OR ATTEMPT TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. These people are a nasty piece of customer service work. read more

The ONLY thing that saves this hotel is its proximity to the race track. It is beyond amazing to me how any place can be so consistently bad. I have now stayed here for my 4th time, and it is just amazing how they never seem to get better. The staff is nice, but none of them are interested in doing their job. Just eat a meal in the hotel and you will see what I mean. There will be 6-8 floor staff hanging around the check in booth and not waiting in customers. The rooms are dirty and they don't fix anything that is broken. It's hard to point at all the little details that they don't bother to make better. Will I stay here again...of course I will. The Chateau Elan at Sebring offers quality accommodations with very friendly and helpful staff. My room was comfortable and did not have any "disinfectant" or other unpleasant odors. The shower hot water arrived fairly soon, unlike some hotels I have stayed at that take 4 or 5 minutes. The bed was not too hard, not too soft, with a variety of pillows, providing a very good night's sleep. And while breakfast was very good ... dinner ... dinner was quite superb. You simply must try the 16oz Angus Ribeye with potatoes and veggies. Simply wonderful. read more

I bought my mother a gift certificate for a massage for mother's day. When she called to set up the message they told her they didn't have a masseuse and to call back. She waited and called back, still no masseuse. They still do not have a masseuse and refunded me the money. When i called to give them my information they did not apologize, not once! My room was small and smelled musty/moldy, had an incredibly uncomfortable bed, thin walls, no wifi and the "complimentary" breakfast didn't include most of the items on the breakfast buffet, a rather clever bait and switch. We stay here about twice a year when there's racing going on. The suites with the balcony are best, on both the new and old side of the hotel. Staff is usually friendly and accomodating. The resturant usually has a buffet, which is pretty good. There's a nice area with a bar, outdoor pool, gym area, and spa. Overall it's a perfect hotel for when we come racing. read more

Went there for brunch. Food was good. Brunch was self service. Saw waitress/server only twice. When we were seated and when our plates cleared and checks were brought. CUSTOMER BEWARE they add the tip even for one!! This is my first time ever tip is added for one person. My fault I didn't check and added 20% tip for someone only seat you and clear your plate. Everything is self service including get your own drink. When we noticed later tip was included and all of us added tips I called and spoke to the manager. I gave the credit card info and he said he would take care. A week later nothing was done. I called and left message and he never called back. A $14.00 tip definitely not worth it. Food was good, but management and service not worth it. We won't be going back. Anyone going to eat be aware of tip added on the bill for one. We stayed here one time to enjoy the proximity to the track, but what a mistake! Super thin walls and floors were a major minus. We could hear toilets flushing all around us as well as conversations and footsteps at all times of the night. The restaurant was a big disappointment, too. Very elegant decor and nice ambiance couldn't offset the cold, unappetizing meals we both endured. It was a one-time experience, and we won't go back. Such a shame, because it has loads of atmosphere which is ruined by the rooms, the food and the couldn't-care-less attitudes of the employees. read more

Clean, quiet, nice hotel. We stayed here for a local track event. We were told the hotel was almost sold out for the night, and you could tell by the parking lot. That being said, we didn't hear any noise in the hallways or disturbances. The rooms are a good size, balcony is a nice touch to see the track. There are some aging items such as shower door not completely sealed and sliding screen for patio wouldn't stay on. Towels, sheets were clean, bathroom was clean but not well laid out. Our room didn't have a tub, so it was difficult to bathe our 11 month old son. Overall, the hotel was nice and a good recommendation for your stay at Sebring. There's a nice bar downstairs and a large patio where you can see the track. Pretty cool to experience. read more

This a wonderful hotel great for having weddings and any type of events I went to a concert and a wedding there, it was great I also spend a couple nights there. We have been customers for lunch (and dinner) at The Seven for years. Even when it was under a different ownership & name. Annually we have paid quite a bit to enjoy their romantic and tasty Valentines Day dinner in the main dining room. However what made this a memorable experience, besides enjoying a lovely meal with my hubby of 35+ years, was that it's located on the Sebring It'l Raceway offering a very unique view plus included in the Valentines Day dinner package was a "Silver Pass" that could be used over the March 12 Hours at Sebring" race weekend. This allowed those with the pass to watch the race from The Seven's location. This provided a great valentines gift for either, or both, of those attending. Coupled with the awesome food it made the $49 per person more acceptable. This year however they are NOT offering the Silver Pass which diminishes the uniqueness of the dinner and raises the cost of the outing by a long shot. I recently stayed at the Chateau Elan for a surprise birthday party for a family member. The Chateau is located on Sebring International Raceway and to my pleasant surprise I got to see cars on the track as well as an aerobatic club doing air tricks from the Regional Airport. I found the Chateau to be reasonably priced, very clean and the staff was exceptional. I look forward to returning again to take advantage of the on site spa. read more

We have stayed at the Chateau Elan several times and have always enjoyed our stay there, not so this trip. We booked a room at the hairpin turn as we usually do, we were moved to the top floor still in the area of the hairpin turn, no issue. The day started off with no room service for breakfast after 9:am. The balcony could not be used due to exterior painting, on a Sunday....really??!! The room AC was working at best at possibly 30%. The water pressure was extremely low for some reason, shower was more like a dribble! When we advised the front desk of the issues the attitude was more like "oh well"! It would have been greatly appreciated if we had been informed that renovations were taking place when we made our reservations, not the case! The changes that have been made are not for the best! What a disappointment! NEVER AGAIN! We checked out and went to the Marriott Residence Inn and enjoyed the balance of our stay in Sebring!! read more

We stayed over the last two weeks due to our house being worked on from the hurricane. We are grateful to them for being available for hurricane victims. But we had several issues while there. For starters, the room smelled musty and moldy. During the weekend, we had to go to a different hotel and come back on Sunday. When we got back on Sunday, it smelled like they had tried to cover the mold smell up with something with menthol. Also, we were told from the time we made the reservation that we couldn't stay on the weekend because they were completely booked. However, on Thursday, I was walking by the front desk and overheard the manager on the phone with someone who wanted 3 rooms for that weekend. She told them that she had 2 rooms available but not the third. I had been asking all week if they had any rooms open so we wouldn't have to leave, and had been told no. So, we didn't appreciate being lied to! Next, there were no microwaves in the rooms. Granted, we were given the "cheapest" rooms, but it does say on their website that there are microwaves in those rooms. Finally, we had an issue with the maid on the second floor. She was very rude to us! On our first week, we had tried to recycle towels as much as possible, and were there for 5 days. So, when we left, we had a large pile of dirty towels. When we came back, we got the same exact room. So, on Tuesday, I went to her to ask for more towels, she actually COUNTED how many towels I had brought her and was going to only give me that many back. I had to say, "You're not going to give me a second large towel?" She reluctantly did but wasn't happy about it. Then on Friday, she stood outside our door telling a maid that she was training that "these people think they can do whatever they want!". Over some towels???? It was incredibly rude!!! Overall, we would NOT stay at this hotel again. read more

We came to this hotel celebrating our anniversary, the room was nice and they were able to give us a room with a balcony where we could watch the race track. Gave us a nice bottle of champagne and all went well until we went down to the restaurant. We had a 6 o'clock reservation which we thought was going to be in fine dining and it turned out to be in the bar area restaurant. Still not a problem until we started to order drinks. Don't try to order any fancy drinks here for example mojitos or flavored martinis because they don't have the supplies. Just stick to wine and beer is what we suggest or simple scotch and water. Then we ordered shrimp appetizers which were fairly palatable. But then we ordered a prime rib sandwich which was totally full of fat and some flatbread which was not very good. They did give us a very nice dessert with our meal because of our anniversary. It was quite good. Perhaps we were expecting something more and it just didn't happen. We did have a good time and maybe that's the important thing. The service people and staff were very nice and maybe it was just an off night for the rest of it. Very clean, water in room nice touch.
