Now we were there later in the day, so selection was a little more limited. We got a half-dozen: two original glazed, 2 Bavarian cream, an apple filled, and a sweet cream cheese filled. I had the glazed, apple, and cheese... I think the cheese was my favorite as I really love a cheese danish and you don't see this as an option almost anywhere. The apple was also quite good, but we need to rank here. The original glazed was fine, a little small and slightly more chewy, though I enjoyed how they're so randomly shaped. My wife had the Bavarian cream and said it was a nice donut.

Unfortunately, they were busy with a bulk order and weren't taking orders or customers at that time but the staff indicated their baked goods were also sold at Smith's. I bought a sweet potato snack cake and a mini pecan pie. I didn't try to items until I got back home in Virginia and was mad at myself because if I knew they were going to be that good I would have bought MORE. The sweet potato snack cake was moist and flavorful with the right amount of spice and the pecan pie had a tender crust, was full of nuts and not too sweet. I will make a point to stop by Tastee Bakery Creations the next time I am in the area. Check them out.

The icing was slightly thick in the top but had a nice lemon flavor. The icing was somewhere between the sugar type icing they have at food lion and a creamy buttercream type. Still it was yummy. We liked the pistachio cheesecake. If you like pistachios, then you must get this. It is definitely a niche flavor but I enjoyed the crust and creamy texture. Forgot to take pics of the food we bought and outside of building. Staff was very friendly. Would go back.
