Just a straight razor, scissors & clippers, all in the hands of a crotchety old man who couldn't care less about you and your problems (after all, he isn't your bartender). Steven is hardly a crotchety old man. Not by any margin. However still, sitting in his chair feels like the good ol' days once again. He gave me a great, close haircut, even with shaving cream on the fur on the back of my gorilla neck. Didn't even try to engage me in conversation either (a good thing, as I am not his bartender). I actually started a conversation with him and it when as such: Me: I see there's a salon right across the street. Steven: There used to be a barber shop a few doors down too. I was able to get in for a haircut on a Saturday with a day's notice, which already had me…read moreimpressed. I have heard of Tonic before and heard great things so I was looking forward to my experience. The salon is on the third floor and has a great amount of space and a great set up. Marissa cut my hair and did an awesome job! She really listened to what I was looking for and what I wanted to change and gave me exactly that. I am so happy to have found Tonic Salon and Marissa!
