If you are looking for a company to simply remove water damage or mold, this is what they do…read more However, they will ask you if you want them to repair and replace all of the damage. This is when you need to say no. Let's begin with my journey.... We had water damage due to an leak under the house that couldn't be seen until the damage was through to the floor above. I contacted servpro, and they were there in 2 days and had the damaged areas removed within a week. The owner then asked who I would like to fix it, and offered his company's assistance. I said that was fine, less people to deal with right? He said the repair would be complete by Thanksgiving. He failed to mention which Thanksgiving. This was in October. Thanksgiving came and went. His crew would show up, at the maximum, one day a week, for a maximum of 5 hours that day. I spent almost 2 months in a hotel because my home wasn't able to be lived in. The dust was bad enough, but I had a hole in my floor that stretched from the middle of the house to one end. During the process, I had to call weekly to even get someone to my house to do the work. The owner even lost his temper and cussed me on several occasions. The "repairs" caused my sewage to back up into the house, not once, but twice. And even though the plumber admitted it was due to their work, they would not assume responsibility, nor would they pay for the plumbing. That was $300 out of my own pocket. We had the carpet in the house replaced in every room. The workers couldn't even figure out that removing drawers from dressers, makes them lighter. They broke my ceiling fan and my toilet when moving things. They neglected to tell me about the ceiling fan, and tried to say I broke the toilet before they got there. It took weeks to lay the floor back down. The owner said they will be done by Christmas. We had Christmas in our kitchen since we couldn't in our living room. They wouldn't let me pick my own flooring people. That was another argument. He said he could get it cheaper. They still charged the same, so he must have a deal with the 70+ year old man that came to do the carpet and flooring. That man took 2 weeks to finish. We had ordered our new shower and sink months prior. He didn't place that order until a week before he was ready. Of course it took longer. And he didn't order the correct sink. He then tried to convince me that the sink he bought, was what we ordered. So I called the cabinet company and confirmed that they ordered a different sink, because the one we wanted wasn't available at the time. It became available a week later. I had to take the sink back and get the right one myself. Servpro forgot to put in the shower we wanted when the walls were gone, then tried to get it through the hallway after the new walls were up. Of course, it didn't fit. So we had to go with the shower we did not want. I asked for flooring that is water resistant for the bathroom to keep from having the same issue in the future. The owner said ok, and still put normal flooring down while making fun of me and my family to his coworkers. He didn't think we could hear them. They didn't seal all of the bathroom either. I had to ask the painters to do it. The owner then showed me where he didn't measure the new sink and cabinet, and it would cover the old wall outlet. I told him to just move the outlet. He threw a fit and then said they wanted to cut 2 inches off the bottom of my brand new cabinet instead. I insisted he not destroy my new cabinet. He refused to move the outlet. I said fine, I'll do it myself, and did. They broke pieces of my child's furniture when moving it back into place. It wasn't major, and I just wanted my house back at this point, so I said nothing. After the carpet was done, and furniture replaced, I noticed my bedroom was not the normal temperature. I looked around, and one of the air vents was completely covered by carpet. I found the vent cover in the drawer of my new sink cabinet. The carpet guy didn't even tell me about it. I fixed that too. A 3 week max job took almost 6 months.

Amy handles the cleaning aspect of things and is doing a major deep clean for me. Gary handles grout, tile and carpet cleaning and even has a special way to remove Kool-aid stains from the carpet which I was so thankful to hear about and am utilizing. I contacted them about a month ago and explained my situation. They quoted me over the phone and said to give them a call a week or so ahead of when I would like to schedule. They are always pretty busy which means their work is on point! I called in Amy to clean my baseboards separately so my contractor could put down quarter round and she was more than happy to fit me into her schedule. I also asked Gary to clean the grout in my kitchen so the contractor could fix a few spots and he got it immaculately clean. Now they are scheduled to do a final clean and shampoo my carpets before we put the house on the market. They are the ultimate business and have REALLY helped me out. I couldn't thank them enough for the load they have taken off my shoulders. They are great people are charge reasonable prices. They have multiple people on their crews so they get the job done fast and on schedule. They communicate via phone call or text and I'm just over the moon pleased with them! Thanks Amy and Gary!
