It's covered in marble all over, featuring marble on marble counter stands and benches with bull carvings. The floor mosaic is done in white Carrara marble tiles with black diamonds. A large and ferocious looking black statue of a bull, attached high on the side wall, overlooks your meat selection. Angelo Feroci was recognized for his butchering achievements back in a day, he received a gold medal at the international exhibition in London in 1924, as well as at the international fair of Rome, 'For fresh meat of fine quality'.

While the old butcher's, further down Via Giovanni Battista Bodoni was a piece of local history, the new shop is very clean and appealing. A long glass counter contains meat of all varieties, kept at an appropriate temperature. Apart from the choice cuts of beef, veal, chicken, turkey, rabbit etc., there are also 'ready meals' prepared by Alfredo, from meatballs to saltimbocca. Other fridges contain excellent quality salamis and hams from Tuscany, salad and vegetables, and there's even a wine selection so you can literally buy goods for an entire dinner party. They have a good selection of cheese and salami products and also have baked goods and meats. It is a small market but very friendly and accommodating to non-Italian speaking tourists. The Woman spoke Spanish to Giuliani and he replied back in Italian.
