They recently moved to smart new premises overlooking the renovated Piazza Testaccio. While the old butcher's, further down Via Giovanni Battista Bodoni was a piece of local history, the new shop is very clean and appealing. A long glass counter contains meat of all varieties, kept at an appropriate temperature. Apart from the choice cuts of beef, veal, chicken, turkey, rabbit etc., there are also 'ready meals' prepared by Alfredo, from meatballs to saltimbocca. Other fridges contain excellent quality salamis and hams from Tuscany, salad and vegetables, and there's even a wine selection so you can literally buy goods for an entire dinner party.
