Feroci is located in the district of Sant'Eustachio in Roma's Centro Storico, almost in front of the church of the Maddalena. It was founded in the early twentieth century by Angelo Feroci (Fierce in translation).
The store no doubt has been renovated since then. It's covered in marble all over, featuring marble on marble counter stands and benches with bull carvings. The floor mosaic is done in white Carrara marble tiles with black diamonds.
A large and ferocious looking black statue of a bull, attached high on the side wall, overlooks your meat selection.
Angelo Feroci was recognized for his butchering achievements back in a day, he received a gold medal at the international exhibition in London in 1924, as well as at the international fair of Rome, 'For fresh meat of fine quality'. read more
