I spoke with Carrie who altered her schedule for that day to fit us in and we couldn't have had a more wonderful experience. She took the time to get us comfortable with our horses, I had Montana and my wife had Sonny, and we fed them treats, she showed us how to saddle them up properly, and patiently explained how to properly ride and handle our beautiful horses. She then led us on their scenic trail through flower-bedded fields, hilly horse paths, and by a scenic lake all while she took hundreds of pictures of us throughout our journey to cherish for years to come. Carrie has a beautiful farm, stable, and even an indoor area for riding lessons and parties. Her horses are all beautiful, well-kept, trained to handle all level of riders, and obviously well-loved and cared for. I highly recommend Misty Hollow for everyone, no matter which experience you choose to partake in (trail riding, lessons, parties, equestrian, etc). I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. I have been here with my friend many times and I have always had a great experience. The last three…read moretimes have been very disappointing, unsafe, and even scared at times. There are a group of dogs that run around the farm. Two of the dogs I have seen before, but the other two I have not. One is a large shepherd looking dog that runs up to you and starts barking and growling at you. It is inches from you! Nobody says anything to it, and I almost screamed for help. Then there is a small tiny dog that runs under the horses. This dog almost got my friend thrown from her horse. I have even seen this dog run in front of cars, horses, and golf carts. There are so many nice friendly dogs on the farm. They are all on a leash. Not these four. These are the dogs that should be. I have seen dogs play late afternoon and it is so relaxing to watch them. They are playing fetch with their owners. They do not growl and try to bite you and are owned by responsible people. I will not refer this farm to anybody because of the safety concerns and I will not be back.

Vicki Peters is a great teacher who can clearly communicate what you need to be doing. I am learning new things, and breaking old habits. She is very easy to talk to and ask questions. In addition, the horse I get to ride during lessons is the biggest and nicest horse I've ever ridden and is a great teacher in his own right. Lastly, the facilities are beautiful, the horse owners I've met are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I have driven past the Quiet Victory Farm sign on Rt 579 for years. I'm so glad I finally acted. I'm back to riding and learning again with a terrific equine partner.

When I reached out after finding her online (and vetting several others that were subpar), her response was immediate and her customer service was top notch. She reviewed everything with me, confirmed the date/time more than once, and not only was she professional, but her personality was LOVELY to work with - she made the experience a pleasure from start to finish.
