It was a weird experience overall, as it started with me getting called back fifteen minutes late and another ten after that for my massage therapist to start. Despite asking for a focused massage, none of it was actually spent on that spot other than about two minutes which he remarked "wow you're really tense!". He didn't stop talking the entire time, about his trauma - his politics - everything. It was so exhausting, honestly. The vibe was definitely off here, and it was fairly pricey. Huge let down.

Apparently doing the chest and butt are taboo. Fine. Then came the waxing. I don't think she knew what she was doing, because she didn't smooth on the fabric very efficiently didn't stretch the skin when she pulled off the wax, and left a lot of hairs that she said would come off when I showered. She also said that my hair was really fine, as if I got waxed frequently, which I don't. In any case here's a picture of the results the next day, after I'd showered. I have no idea why I spent $45 for this, because now I have to shave my legs anyway. Will not be returning.

Definitely what I needed! I came from out of town and the…read morelong road trip messed up my back pretty bad. I called several places and Kneading could get me in in an hour on the same day! The reviews were really good so I thought I'd chance it. I'm pretty picky and need very deep massage work. Susan worked my muscles so hard! In a good way. It's definitely not a typical American spa experience. They have bars on the ceiling to walk on your back. She mostly focused on my back and shoulders but she did do my whole body. It was a 60 minute slot. Warning for those it bothers...they are not afraid of nudity! You are given a small towel to cover yourself, which gets moved around as they are work on different areas. Also, there's a heating pad that they put on your back while working on other areas. I'm of a European mindset so nudity doesn't bother me but I know for some people it might. The only negative in my opinion is that because the ceiling is open for the handlebars and the "rooms" are closed with curtains, there was a little bell or alarm that kept ringing every little bit. I think it was the front door or register. Other than that, I was very impressed by the quality of work done.

This spot is located right off the main road and very easy to schedule an appointment in. This was…read morea plus for us, as we called around and this was the only location available last minute. While I found the pricing extremely excessive, we still had an average experience. (Cheaper pricing is available for cash payment vs. card.) The masseuses were kind, but did not ask what areas we wanted to be focused on. They do not use heating pads like other locations and only a small sheet to cover you which left you feeling cold and exposed. We had a lot of giggles as one of the masseuses insisted there were no undergarments to be worn. (Never had this issue in other spas.) They proceeded to try to take them off themselves through the sheet . Awkward! For the quality of massage beds, lack of heating pads, and decor...... I would rate this as a subpar place for your relaxation needs. It's highly overpriced for the quality of everything overall. We did not leave feeling satisfied with the quality and they almost force you into tipping well. The quality was not great and we did not even feel it was worth it, but yet still left a more than satisfactory tip because of the coercion at the front desk. Maybe they should try employing the envelope tip method like other proper salons. Spending over $160 for two one hour massages is ridiculous, particularly at a location of this low quality. The language barrier with staff can be difficult to understand as well. If you're looking for a massage in Clarksville, I suggest trying another salon. We will definitely be looking.
