They are not facilitating effective treatments or treating children/minors as human beings. The nurses would threaten "the shot" if the other minors misbehaved. I saw people get dragged into the "quite room" to get forced to wear a paper gown and given the shot for a mere disagreement or attitude. When they came out they were a zombie. When one of the other patients acted out we ALL had to STAND in front of our bed from morning to night - for days. We weren't allowed to sit, use the restroom, etc. unless they told us we could. One of the staff would remind us everyday not to make friends with anyone else because we were all mentally defective. The staff are immature, uneducated, and unprofessional. The therapist on staff was useless. This was NOT a safe place and this environment just adds onto trauma. I didn't even see the "doctor" or know who he was until the night before discharge day and the doctor ended up doing nothing to address anything which is probably for the better. This isn't just bad business. It's straight up child abuse. These institutions should be shut DOWN and the nurses and staff should be reported.
