I came in for a hair cut and full highlights with Kellie early on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere was quite and relaxed, just what I needed so early in the morning. I was offered a beverage, and had some delicious coffee with pumpkin spice creamer; it definitely woke me up! Kellie was very thorough and left no hair untouched. The chairs they have here for the rinse/shampoo&condition treatment are FANTASTIC! Not only are they very comfortable, they have a massage feature as well. I could have laid in that chair for an hour or more. Seriously, it was amazing. My hair was cut exactly how I wanted and it continues to wash/dry/and fix perfectly. My highlights are amazing and make me very happy :) I can't recommend Carenza and Kellie's services enough. I plan on returning the next time I need my hair done and would love to experience a mani/pedi here.

I remembered Jackie as being incredibly friendly and talented, but since she wasn't taking new clients, was referred to Alexis. Alexis is fantastic. Easy to talk to and she gave me just the haircut I was looking for. I get a really nice family vibe from Stone Fox. They all seem to get along but also treat their customers like family - in a good way! I love that their products are all natural and organic. I have no problem getting appointments quickly and at times that work for me. They have a super convenient parking lot, too, which is AWESOME for the East Side. I had had a bad experience previously with another stylist who razored my ends to hell, and Sarah said that we would work together to get my hair back to where it should be. And my cut was exactly what I wanted even though I had to go a bit shorter than I would have liked (to get rid of the bad razoring). Sarah and I talked through everything to try to determine what was best for me and my hair - I was a little nervous seeing someone new, but she was very patient with me and took the time that was necessary to make sure I was happy with everything. The brand of hair products that SF carries is amazing. Similar to Aveda, in that they're natural and mostly organic, but they do so much more for my hair than Aveda ever could (and one of the shampoo/conditioner types smells like Thin Mints. THIN MINTS, people). I should probably mention that everyone at SF is super friendly, and that I've always had good interactions with everyone at the salon. I'm glad I made the switch!

The Salon has been open under new management for about a year now. They are a full service hair and nail salon. They also do waxing and have esthetician services. I am very impressed with everyone who works here. They are upbeat, happy, friendly and very, very professional. My lady is particularly happy and loves the new owners, Melanie and Rebecca, as well as manicurist Janelle, who also performs pedicures. According to my lady, Melanie "...is an artist..." and is the reason why she gets so many compliments from others about her hair. The location is in a shopping center on Bluemound Road and Calhoun. No full voicemails or calling for weeks like I have experienced with other salons featuring Groupon deals. Sandy was friendly & nice and really appears to care about the quality of service her clients receive. She answered all of my questions and explained the different options they offer and why they are the best for the health of their clients' hair & nails.
