Maureen, Steve and Sarah are extremely helpful and made our arrival and stay pleasant. Our investment firm needed space for 2 to 3 months prior to moving into full-time real estate in downtown Stamford. Serendipity ended up being a great fit for that time period. Pros: 1. Immediate Move In - You can speak with Maureen and then bring in your laptop same day 2. Clean & Comfortable Space - Solid design, good furniture, and great conference rooms with solid flat screen TV's for projection. 3. Client First Mindset - Maureen, Steve and Sarah who run the location really do put the tenants needs first. They were flexible on several locations. Some small but important examples (needed documents printed quickly, needed temporary access for candidates to be interviewed, needed flexibility on our move out date) 4. Nice Kitchen - There is coffee, snacks (for purchase) and a large refrigerator. 5. More Professional Than We Works - I've been to several of the We Works in New York and some feel like a party. They're more of a fit for people right out of college. Con's (Mostly Minor): 1. Printing - The setup for printing was a challenge if you have a Mac computer 2. Access Door - The one access door between the two sections of the building didn't work very well. Steve and team spent a lot of time trying to fix it but it was a challenge for two months we were there. 3. Smells In Small Rooms - For some reason the small rooms can smell pretty bad (possibly the carpeting) and it seems to change day to day. Overall very positive experience. If you need something quick with people who will be your advocate to make it work Serendipity Labs is a good bet. I plan on using the location that is being built in the city I am moving to. Thanks Maureen, Steve and Sarah!

This review is for The Idea Kitchen in Larchmont, NY…read more All you need to know: A+ experience and value. Absolute highest recommendation to reach out to the Idea Kitchen team - Adam (owner), Ana, and Will are fantastic ambassadors. You'd be shortchanging yourself and your productivity not to consider checking them out if you need a local workspace. A few details: I visited family in Larchmont for August 2021. I grew up there locally, but now live on the west coast. My wife and I stayed with my family for a month-long visit, and needed a way to be productive for our jobs during this time. We both have desk jobs that require many video and phone calls. After some online research and a recommendation from local residents, I chose to rent an office at the Idea Kitchen for our time in NY. It was an incredibly good decision. The Idea Kitchen team, facility, and office delivered 10 out of 10 on everything you could want in a co-working partner. The space itself is fantastic: ultra-clean, spacious, massive windows/ well-lit, high-ceilings, and modern. It felt like many co-working spaces and offices I've seen for tech start-ups on the west coast. The security app and auto-access was convenient and easy - I had 24/7 access with the plan I purchased, which was fantastic to be able to use the space for early and late calls as needed. The entire staff was incredibly responsive, professional, friendly, and just made everything easy. From answering my initial questions via phone & email prior to committing, to helping me manage my account, to helping me navigate anything I needed when I was in the office (printing access, temperature control, etc.), the team was fantastic. One evening at about 9pm I mistakenly locked my phone & computer in the office. I called the after-hours number and ultimately Adam (owner) personally solved the issue so that I could get my items right away. In addition, the other members/ customers all seemed quite kind and community-oriented, while also driven to get their work done, so it was an environment that was conducive to being productive, as well as being motivating. Overall, it was an incredibly pleasant and worthwhile experience to spend my work days & evenings at The Idea Kitchen. I hope you're as lucky as I was that they have availability for when you are considering working there.

Terrible company. Unique combination of "global company indifference / local company…read moreunsophistication". Space itself is mostly ok and even nice but the administrative support is greatly lacking and so everything seems fine on paper until you have a question about an invoice, need to make a switch to your contract, or disagree about the timeliness of when a credit is refunded (I speak from experience on all of these). Also, while they promise you the ability to easily switch your contract to a different geography, it never really works out that way in practice because their "global rates" are not honored or the same type of space is simply not available. Worst of all, the sales team promises one thing but there is no way after you sign the contract to get admin and finance staff (located in Florida, where the foreign corporate owner has its U.S. offices, from what I understand) to implement what was promised. There is also no direct line to a global support center, so when things go bad you are forced to keep going back to the same local boots on the ground who may have caused your problem to begin with, rather than allow you to contact the global team yourself. (The will reach out to you is about bills however!) Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else...
