Some of the sights nearby (within 1 1/2 hours or less) are Sienna, Cortona, Arezzo, Badia a Coltibuono, and an unexpected spot Rondine Cittadella della Pace. We walked through the fields up to the Peace InstituteRondine) and met 2 women from Croatia and Syria who were studying there. We had an interesting discussion. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, very comfortable with a complete kitchen and living room. Looking out the windows to the countryside is wonderful We were truly transported to another world! I highly recommend this Bianchi property and they are opening another soon which, I am confident, wil be just as perfecto!

We spend our little Honeymoon at the Castello di Cologne. We had a rental car, so it was really…read moreeasy to get there from Florence and all the other Cities. Up on the day of arrival until the day we left, we felt like we were in our little Italian Paradise. Rosita and Rita made us feel that we booked a five star apartment and were a king and queen. We had three huge fresh flower bouquets in our beautiful apartment( "Del Caccia") when we arrived, which they got right from their beautiful backyard. Also a bottle of their awesome red wine was ready to be enjoyed by us on the beautiful terrace there, with a just breathtaking view. As we were sitting outside for the sunset, Rosita came out and lighted up all the outdoor candles and lanterns for us and even gave us some homemade pasta. With the dogs playing around and with us and this peaceful atmosphere we couldn't wish for more. The other night we got a basket of some fresh picked apricots and the day we left the best memory- a fresh lavender bouquet. No matter, if you come for your honeymoon, with your kids or some friends. The friendly service of the two sisters and this great location is made for an outstanding time to relax. We hope to return soon for a longer stay. And always remember and dream of this fantastic time Rosita and Rita gave us there. Thank you so much again.
