Dallin and Cienna Hassard Photography - Joshua Tree Intimate Wedding Photographer

Dallin and Cienna Hassard Photography

(1 review)

Outer Richmond

100% would not recommend…read more My fiancé and I booked him for our wedding. He made it seem like it was a duo deal the entire time. Then my fiancé went to one of his workshops and was excited to meet him - it was terrrible. So unorganized and unprofessional. He had nothing planned out, models didn't even have rings, he had another photographer pick up the dress for him and it took multiple emails for him to pay her. AND instead of Cienna, he brought one of his buddies who was unprofessional throughout the entire experience (this apparently happens on all of his retreats according to other photographers who have attended). I complained and said I didn't think he was the right photographer for us and that I did not feel comfortable with a solo male photographer, especially with him bringing one of his buddies along. He was very persistent on being my photographer still. I even explained that my son would not feel comfortable with him as on the retreat he was escorted off of lands by park rangers and police. My son, who has multiple disabilities, would be mortified if this occurred on our wedding day - as I also would. He finally responded and said that he technically could refund me (but would not do the retainer which I was upset with because it was technically false advertising - I paid full price for 2 photographers). BUT he told me he did not have the funds to refund me right now and then asked me to be patient with him. I have sent multiple emails and letters without a response since. THEN he posted to his Instagram about "rebranding" and stating it would just be him from now on and even change his name and BLOCKED my fiancé and I from seeing the post.... How professional. Thankfully we have numerous photographer friends who shared all of the stories and posts with us. After reading these other reviews, he is definitely a scam artist and I would not recommend using him unless you want a bad experience and to lose money/not get your money's worth. I assume these other "great" reviews are from models rather than actual photographers or couples who have booked him. What a terrible way to start a day that is suppose to be the best day. Thankfully, I have all of the messages and emails between us as we try to argue for our money back.

My fiancé and I loved every minute of our fun and easy engagement photoshoot session (aka first…read moreever professional photoshoot) with Vivian! Highlights: - Before the session, Vivian was so helpful on text and getting to know us and our story! - Day of, Vivian guided us with expression/pose ideas that felt natural to us, noticed minor details & always remembered my "good" side :) - We picked a large venue (Filoli Gardens) on a chilly weekend, and Vivian was a pro and patient with finding a variety of photo ops (indoor and outdoor) - Quick turnaround with our edited photos (lots of options in colored and B&W) & loved how Vivian created a story with the overall session with capturing a range of candid/poses. It's hard to find a photo we both like us both in, but honestly it was hard to choose our top faves! Highly recommend Vivian to capture special moments!

Vivian is downright amazing…read more I desperately needed some professional photos of the freeze dried foods that I produce. I basically said "pretty pictures please" and that is what I got. She arrived promptly and I showed her the product, she assessed the room, found the proper lense and got to work. She took her time posing the snacks, detailed and meticulous, and BOOM. Pretty pictures. Seeing the photos for the first time was incredible. Each and everyone looked gorgeous, and exactly what I was looking for . Very thankful for her help. Highly recommend Vivian!

I learned about Lolo through Daily Candy. I had recently been looking for a way to mark the moment…read morewhere I currently am in my life - a time of tremendous transition and soul searching. (The last time I felt a need to do something similar, I got a tattoo). However, this time I wanted to celebrate the moment in an entirely different way. At first I thought, boudoir photos? Hmmm....a little tacky, full of boa feathers and cheesy poses, right? But the Daily Candy blurb was compelling enough for me to look at Lolo's website and I liked what I found. As another reviewer has written: sensual, timeless, natural, coquettish and most importantly, classy while revealing the true essence of the subject (or so it seemed). I knew instantly that this was what I wanted, and arranged an initial consultation to explore the idea further. As soon as I met Lolo and saw her studio, I knew I would follow through. She has lots of fun settings and props and costumes. And you can shoot in her studio or in her barn (yes, imagine me, being photographed in a barn!) However, I was like a little girl playing dress up, and it was such fun! And you can even bring your own items from home....from jewelry to lingerie to your favorite dresses and shoes.....as much or as little as you want. I have a vintage 60's ballgown (think Breakfast at Tiffany's) which I have always wanted to be photographed in, in really fun, whimsical poses. As you can probably imagine, my shoot was an absolute blast (albeit a tad cold in the barn). And I loved the champagne, chocolates and ginger biscuits that helped sustain me throughout the 5 hour shoot. :-) Lolo is a great photographer to work with and I can't wait to see my pics! Update 3/8/07: I absolutely LOVE my photos. They turned out even better than I could possibly imagine. Lolo is an exquisite photographer, and captured me in my many moods. Seriously, if I wasn't already me I would probably fall in love with myself based on these photos alone....my vanity alone is going to go through the roof. My poor friends and what they will have to endure from me......
