I was court appointed to work with Susan Shirley. I wouldn't even give her a one star rating but…read moresome form of rating is required which is why I give her one star. She is no help to managing family situations! Very poor communicator and created additional conflict in couples or non couples that are required to report for her service. It is why I believe she moves around from job to job. The courts require such service and for Susan it is all about her and her money. Never on time, never communicates clearly and in doing so just costs her clients more money for her own errors of communication. Whatever credentials she carries to perform or not, her duties, she is in the wrong field of business. Some people will just never be able to perform what challenges they are trained for. Susan Shirley is one of those people. The worst counsellor I have ever been to. She should be in counseling herself to better understand what counseling and people, conflict resolution is all about. If you are unlucky enough to get her as a court appointed counsellor I would suggest you request another or suffer the consequences that come with an incapable counsellor that is all about herself and the money she came squeeze out of you through the legal system. More than dissatisfied I was shocked at her tardiness, unpreparedness and lack of communication. If you like a fire she is certainly the gasoline to whatever situation anyone may and many do in life. Stay away from this counsellor, she will make everything far worse and require you to seek additional professional counsel to get over what you have been through with Susan Shirley.
