Middletown and Shelbyville road is a hot spot for entertainment and places to eat. Always full of traffic and action. However if you go back one street to Main Street it's more of a Historic old town vibe and while driving Main Street you will find this little gem. The gas station is a one pump station that's the size of medium sized luxury bathroom. Very cool and fun find.

While the outside of the building looks a bit outdated, the inside of the theater appeared to have been recently remodeled. The reclining seats were new and very comfortable, and the trays attached to each seat were especially helpful for managing my kids' drinks and popcorn. For five people, including a large popcorn, our total came to about $60, which I thought was very reasonable for a family outing. We'd definitely come back.

The beautiful stone building now houses several gift boutiques and has available space for a small restaurant that was recently vacated. In one of the gift boutiques, Gather (see separate review), one can appreciate the beautiful stone fireplaces that are prominent in each room of the home. The wooden staircase and floors are beautiful and add so much charm! If you enjoy historic buildings and architecture and/or enjoy shopping in quaint, quiet, and historic surroundings, this is the place for you! Great professional staff and safety is their #1 priority. Located right in the city, just a short drive to get there. This is the most open cavern I have ever been in and you almost feel like you are in a dark warehouse, it's so big! No "tight" spaces of any kind. Heights might be your issue if that is a concern. If you have any climbing, repelling, spelunking, or exploring experience, this is a "walk in the park" for you. No experience is needed and they take care of everything. The Bad: Do not get the picture package!! The picture is taken at a standing platform after one of the zip lines, not an action shot!! The Ugly: It felt a little sketchy going down the barren hallway. It was a 5 min walk that felt like you were going through an industrial hallway and it just felt out of place to keep going if the signs were not there. On to my next adventure....
