Upon arrival we were immediately greeted, seated, and offered drinks. It felt instantly magical! The interior was beautifully lit with chandeliers, lots of florals, staircase, and even a backdrop with a ring light for photos. They had plenty of cushioned chairs and couches, both comfortable and aesthetic. We ended up taking a couple photos while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We had a private area reserved for us, away from other guests which made the experience more intimate and intentional. Fran was the one to help us, she is extraordinary!! She quickly made us feel welcomed, excited, and cared for. Her ability to make conversation and still inform us about the process and ensuring individual satisfaction is exceptional. In total we each paid $60 for the experience and the 1.0 fluid ounce bottle of our curated scent, our party of four took over 2 hours. Usually, the process is much quicker but we had such great conversation and took our sweet time adding and changing proportions of each scent. You also get to further personalize your fragrance bottle by naming it, labeling the bottle, and choosing your own color lid. They then give you your bottle in a box, wrapped in tissue paper, and a cute bag. It made it feel like a luxury item, obsessed with the consideration around this company's concept!! To this day, whenever I wear my perfume I always get so many compliments!! I love that it's exactly what I love in perfumes, the musk, sweet citrus, and a balanced creamy smell. I've used it consistently for months and still have half my bottle. The best part is that they build you a profile so if you run out, you can reorder the scent online. Fun experience, practical, and the longevity of the perfume is great. Would highly recommend.

The shop is tucked away on a little side street in Old San Juan: Easy to walk past, were it not for the signage on the street. However, when you walk inside there's a bright and beautiful studio full of fabulous scents and lots of personality. There are beverages offered for an additional cost including water, mimosas, and champagne by the glass or bottle. Wendy was our Custom Fragrance Concierge for the morning and she was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and she was incredibly patient as we got our scents just right. She offered me some really great recommendations to help me balance and finish my fragrance. There were a few others in our group and she managed to somehow give each of us personalized attention, as we were all at different points in our individual fragrance-making process. In addition to that, she did a great job simultaneously managing a rather indignant group of women who came in during our session (without a reservation) demanding to be served immediately. Even though all of the staff were leading sessions at the time, she still managed to get them settled and started... All while still tending to us and not so much as breaking a sweat. I don't know how she did it all, but it was amazing! After one last sniff test to verify that my fragrance was exactly as I wanted, my custom scent was blended and bottled right in front of me. I was offered a few choices of color for the top of the bottle, and even gave it a name. After boxing and bagging my fragrance, Wendy made sure I registered my custom scent blend so that I can reorder whenever I wish. After doing a few boomerangs for IG at Wendy's request, it was time to say goodbye. This was such a fun and unique activity and I had such a great time here. And of course, I absolutely LOVE my fragrance... A customized, personalized souvenir from my time on the Isla de Encanta.

The tone of the communication made me feel as though I was being judged rather than treated like a serious prospective client. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated experience. I had a similar interaction on two separate occasions, which made me question whether this is simply the way potential clients are treated by the practice. I have also personally heard from others who described their consultations with the surgeon as intimidating and said they felt judged during the process. A consultation should be an opportunity for a patient to feel comfortable, respected, and informed--not intimidated or made to feel unwelcome. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend this practice and will be taking my business elsewhere.
