Seoul Kitchen, tucked away inside the Grand Cities Mall in Grand Forks, ND, is an absolute gem. As someone from Los Angeles, where Korean cuisine is both abundant and top-notch, I was pleasantly surprised to find a spot like this in Grand Forks that could easily hold its own among the many Korean restaurants in SoCal. I had the galbi and the chicken wings (both yang-nyeom and dak-gang-jeong), and they were nothing short of fantastic. The galbi was perfectly marinated, with a savory-sweet flavor that transported me straight back to the bustling BBQ joints of K-town in LA. The meat was tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection, with that delightful char that makes galbi so irresistible. The chicken wings were equally impressive. The yang-nyeom wings were my favorite of the two, they had the right balance of sweet, spicy, and savory, with a sticky glaze that made them incredibly addictive. The dak-gang-jeong wings, on the other hand, were a nice blend of crispy and sweet, with a candy-like coating that provided a satisfying crunch. Our server was amazing too! She was attentive and incredible nice! Seoul Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors in the Midwest.
