This little pub/restaurant is inside what they call a "mall" (there were a few stores, and 2…read morerestaurants, along with a Mercadona - market).
We had the Menu del Dia (10 euros each): mine included a Caesar salad, beef flank with fries, and dessert (a seriously tiny bite of brownie with a LOT of whipped cream). My friend's menu included a veggie puree, tuna seared with onions on a bed of greens, and a slice of berries cheesecake.
They serve halves of croissants with ham and cheese as free appetizers - this was a nice touch, since we were cranky and starving. We also ordered Mort Subitas...yum.
My only complaint was that our Mort Subitas came with Mort glasses, smeared with pink lipstick; we told our waiter, and he promptly switched them, and yelled at the lady in charge of doing the dishes. He was very nice, and I recommend it if you're hungry and confused in this area of Madrid.
