Terrible! They have rudest most unhelpful staff ever!! They messed my order up and then ignored all my emails and refused to offer a re-print, any money off or even discount on my next purchase, for them trimming all printing all of my purchases completely wrong and making them unusable!! Can't state this enough....DO NOT USE!!!!!!!! read more

I was actually told to P*** off today by their elderly chap (sounds old to me anyway). After asking what thickness the cards were printed on, as we ordered 400gsm silk artboard and they feel like paper. After calling me a liar (which is ironic, i'll get to that) he then shouted at me when I said we will seek legal compensation, then told me to pee off! Last week, I ordered the wrong type (completely my fault) so I rang up where I was greeted with politeness and help, I said I can pay the extra but was advised that he would cancel it for me, the bank would only hold the money until 2am the next day where it would then be released. We found out this wasn't the case, the bank hold it for 11 days in case their company want to claim it. Which means 11 working days, over two weeks! As this order was almost £200 it has been too much to just "lose" for a few weeks. When my partner spoke to him about this he just shouted at her saying she was calling him a thief. We paid extra for a clients order, because it's called customer care, we made a loss but kept a client, this company have no idea what that means. I would avoid them like the plague if you are looking for something they do, try someone else. read more

I ordered a batch of business cards and leaflets from sense creative's website. They made every step of the process really easy - even I could use it! The quality is extremely high, and i think it will be very beneficial in helping to promote my business. Recommended. read more

I would advise against using this company unless you want something basic and you're not bothered too much about quality or need to use their customer services at all. I looked around for a good deal on a stationery pack, found these guys, got the files print-ready according to their checklist, and placed the order. It arrived with a printing error on the letterheads and comp slips and the business cards were terrible quality with inconsistency in colour, solid blocks of colour looking like gradients or stripey, lines were low res and edges were cut roughly. Some of the cards even had red blobs of ink on them. Also printed on the wrong card stock to what I asked for. After my initial complaint over the phone, I waited and waited to hear back from them to let me know what they could do for me. After 2 follow up emails gone unanswered, I had to ring them myself 2 weeks later. John Thompson answered the phone. On asking him why no one had got back to me for so long, there was no apology, just 'I thought they had'. I said, well no, and he just repeated his first line. His view was that the printing error was a fault in my artwork, so it wasn't their problem and told me he'd get his designer to send me a report. I said I didn't particularly want a report, I wanted the issue resolved - his huffed reply 'I don't care if it's not what you want, you're getting it anyway' and then when I tried to ask about the problems with the business cards, he stopped me short saying 'right can we do one thing at a time'. In fairness, Rachel in customer services is more sympathetic but she still can't do much to resolve your issues in this kind of situation. Unfortunately it's John Thompson who seems to set the policy that if the customer is unhappy for whatever reason, it's tough luck for them. Woe betide that customer if you get him on the phone as he seems to think it's fine to be condescending and argumentative on top of it all. It seems they expect you to have the same technical knowledge of a press operator but they don't list all the technical limitations of their own press on their artwork checklist and they do not even check their printouts against the artwork you supplied it's all far too easy a trap to fall into. By their rule, they could send customers back 500 blank sheets of paper if their whole design consisted of something they could not print and still refuse a reimbursement an extreme example but the principle is the same. Their policy is set up for their convenience but to your (potential) loss so beware. Just don't expect any apologies for keeping you waiting, or any compensation for poor quality. I was willing to compromise by only requesting a part reimbursement but there is no movement from them on this. Their only offered solution was for me to resend the job for printing and they will do me a 'good deal' on it. Even their first response on my original complaint was trying to sell me their upgrade service. The assumption that I would want to give them any more of my money is perplexing. After my experience and reading some of the other low rated reviews, I really feel that this company has questionable trading ethics. I really regret not reading these reviews before I used Sense Creative, so just wanted to say if you're reading, don't risk it, just use other companies I've used Full colour cards before and Goodprint and even Vistaprint were better! There are so many other companies who will provide a really great service and good quality product at good prices. Sorry, I just can't recommend this company. read more

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY First order placed with professional graphic designer made artwork submitted in the format required by sense, order arrived perfect, in good time and at a good price, second order placed using same artwork etc with minor text edits arrived with totally wrong colour, after immediately informing sense of the problem the wall came up. They would take no responsibility, first tried blaming our designer, then blamed atmospheric conditions in the factory, posiible operator error, possible callibration of machine but claims that is a hazard of printing and that the bronze/ brown colour of our logo which was supposed to be a mid grey was well within acceptable industry tolerances. Refused to re-print, refused to accept liability, I think i spoke to john as some of the other reviewers have and experienced the same arrogant, CBA attitude, he is argumentative, confrontational, unreasonable and almost impossible to hold a reasonable conversation with, the company should run this individual through one of their machines otherwise consider renaming the business NO SENSE CREATIVE as he is extremely damaging for their future. We print over 100,000 postcards, scratchcards, appointment cards every year through a number of printers and we have never experienced such an unprofessional company devoid of customer service and responsibility, to put this into context this particular order was small and worth only £85.00 DO NOT, I REPEAT , DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY , unless you want to risk wasting your time and money, John can argue all he likes but these are the facts and his service is c**p. read more

I am a print reseller and have used Sense Creative on many occasions. I have called this morning regarding a business card complaint. I was also complaining about the fact I paid for samples which still haven't arrived on another order. I spoke to a very nice gentleman who explained that I hadn't made the complaint within 3 days so there was nothing I could do. I explained I place a lot of orders with themselves and it was a shame there was nothing they could do as my customer was not happy. The cards they produced were so different from the last order. The difference in litho and digital was blatantly obvious. I was passed over to John. Now I have spoken to him before and received the same treatment. I was assured by a lady called Joanne I would never have to deal with him again and he shouldn't even be answering the phones as they have had so many complaints about him. He is a family member and they have to put up with him. He is horrible, he has no customer service skills whatsoever. I would never speak to any of my customers the way he spoke to me. I had to pass him to my husband as he was so disrespectful. He then continued to shout at my husband before putting the phone down. Ha ha ha whilst writing this review I have just received a phone call back from John to say the artwork was wrong. This is a repeat order which I have sent on several occasions. When I told him I wasn't happy with the way he spoke to me he said I was looking for an argument and put the phone down again. We are all sat in the office shocked, laughing at how rude this person is. read more

I would give Sense Creative no stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I have used this company on previous occasions for business cards in the past. It used to be litho which was good value and had recommended to others, but recently I ordered a short run of 100 business cards to be sent to a client for a specific event she was participating in and sample copies to be sent to me 2 separate addresses, a week ahead of a deadline and neither were received. I phoned the customer service phone number at least 4 times with no answer and emailed the office twice with no reply so I had to order print from another printer and paid for overnight courier service to get them to my client. The manager of Sense Creative just called me, a couple of weeks after I'd emailed twice about this and had asked for a refund (only £20 but it was the principle). The manager wouldn't believe me and I was told my client was a liar and that both deliveries had been made. He got angry with me and wouldn't calm down when I asked him to speak to me in a calm manner. His name is John Thompson, and as some of the other reviewers on this site have said, he is argumentative, confrontational, unreasonable and almost impossible to hold a reasonable conversation with. I am shocked at how he spoke to me. His lack of customer care and downright rudeness must be losing the company so much money. You're only as good as your last job, and I won't ever be sending work or recommending people to them again. I can't believe this appaulling customer service exists. read more

DO NOT USE SENSE CREATIVE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING! I have used Sense Creative on a number of occasions without a problem. Until now. On the 8th August I made an order online. The order was for business cards. I uploaded my artwork on their updated ordering system online. I wasn't sure if the artwork uploaded correctly as there we're system errors throughout the ordering process. Straight away I emailed Customer Services to check that the 3 files (2 x front with different names + 1 back) had uploaded correctly. I also asked for verification on the job specification and that the order was a 'Multi Name' business card service. I received a reply an hour later from Andrew Thomson stating that they had received the files correctly and it was now processing. The Business cards arrived today. Completely wrong order. I couldn't believe it after contacting Andrew to check. I emailed Andrew to ask what went wrong. I also stated that the error was their responsibility for a dodgy upload system and not checking the order properly as I requested. I asked if they could rectify the problem by printing the other business card for free. He replied stating that he couldn't offer a reprint. 1. Their upload system is full of errors when selecting services and uploading artwork. (Multiname Business Card Service) 2. Extremely poor customer service. Requests are not made slap dash checking and poor communication. Stay away people. read more

Absolutely appalling customer service. I have used them for 6 or 7 orders, and have recommended them for their astonishing price, and quick free delivery. No major problems, bit of creased laminate, some slightly rough colour reproduction, but all in all very good. Until yesterday. I submitted a custom quote, and received a very blunt reply stating they needed more information. I phoned up to clarify the situation, and to add the necessary information (which wasn't really necessary, as I provided the design file) only to be told I must resubmit the quote or they couldn't quote. I explained that the situation was a little more complicated and could I explain to someone doing the quoting. I then got passed to some a**ehole who shouted abuse at me down the phone, and didn't listen to my concerns. I believe his name is John Thomson, if you ever get any problems, beware having to talk to this guy. He was extremely rude and condescending, for no apparent reason, when I was only asking a simple question. I promptly hung up the phone and took my business elsewhere. I decided to write a complaint, and just got a ridiculous reply from John's wife/daughter who sided entirely with him when she'd never even heard the conversation, and offered no real apology. Bunch of jokers, I have warned my colleagues not to use them, and I warn all you readers too. THE most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. BEWARE. read more

Have just received a glowing review from one of my customers about the print they received from Sense Creative. Ordered and uploaded artwork on the friday morning and my order was dispatched at 4.35pm on monday! I've now moved to having my print orders dispatched straight to my customer saving me postage and petrol driving to my clients to drop off print, because I know the quality will be great! Delivery is included in the cost so why not?! I have one customer that has placed 36 orders for business cards over the last year because even after my margin added I'm cheaper and better quality and print spec using Sense Creative than he can get from his franchisor! When I came out of university I struggled to get print to come out the way I wanted, I read their checklist and downloaded a couple of templates and now I feel much more confident sending artwork to print. They've educated me to! They seem to have a well working, thought-out website and I can't help getting excited about their That Print Thing software thing so i'm thinking about joining that next, at least to refresh my portfolio. read more

I have used this company many times as i am reseller and yes they were good quality until they turned the business cards to digitally printed. Yes they are cheap but prices have stayed the same since they changed from litho to digital, but quality has been reduced hugely. ALSO the main problem with sense creative is the owner John is very rude and trust me if you want customer care he has no care . as i mentioned above i work within the industry and know how files should be sent and i will be honest before they changed to digital they were great value but digital seems to be causing them many problems and maybe thats why hes so rude as he hears it every day. BUT trust me me if you want john at sense creative to resolve the problem he wont he will either blame it on you or hang up the phone. Youd think as they have a print reseller scheme they would be more understanding. SENSE CREATIVE CHEAP BUT BEWARE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG THEY WILL HANG UP THE PHONE I have starred it one but that is only because on this system you have to at least give it one read more

I was shocked to see Sense Creative getting such horrendous reviews. I have been using them for the past six years! I have spent hundreds with them. We have had our differences but I have found them to be reliable and fair the only time they have dug their heels in is when I have been wrong (or my artwork has). Yes they have a way to go with their customer service they tend to tell it as it is its down to Northern plain speaking. Its a bit irritating at times I must admit. But I have to say in all fairness that the print is brilliant yes they make mistakes do you know a printer who doesn't? But if it is their fault they put it right. I am not usually up for leaving reviews for businesses but as they cant answer for themselves I think its up to their satisfied professional customers to do it for them. Thanks to the gang at Sense I will be placing my orders with you with no qualms at all. read more

Disgraceful quality and the customer service was even worse. We ordered business cards from sense creative. A simple enough task one would assume. The cards were falling apart and the colour and laminate was peeling away. We called to raise the problem and were treated with an abusive and aggressive person called John. Apparently the director. He refused to accept it was a poor quality job and said he had quality checks which were all fine. He bascially accused me of lying. When we returned the botched job, again he made a member of our team actually cry he was so abusive and aggressive. He stated the cards that were faulty were extra and we should be grateful it was there to begin with. John clearly has no sense of customer service or quality. An aggressive and rude man that values his own opinion above his customers stay well away. read more

Sense Creative was recommended to us by our designer, but when we had difficulty with a business card order, I was treated very rudely on the phone. I've asked valid questions but received sarcasm. Basically our artwork that we've used for 3+ years 'was to blame' for the print run being defective. No refund or any offer to work any agreement. So I asked to cancel a new/current order (since our business card art was obvious the blame in their eyes!) and was first denied the refund (trying to cancel a same-day order). Eventually after more heated words, they agreed to cancel my same-day order, then hung up on me. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. So if you don't care that only about 70% of your order correct, then this company is for you! I would search elsewhere and wish I could have read these ratings prior. read more

I agree with most of the people here, their customer service is R U B B I S H. I had the same experience with them. Instead of wasting your time with them, just take your business and go somewhere else. There are printers out there who can provide Excellent customer service, Quality product, and affordable price. Don't go for CHEAP printing, if you do then this is what you get. I use Q-Print.co.uk, their products and prices are good and i am very happy with their customer service too. Only thing is they don't have a web site yet. I think you should be able to place order online from January next year. Really surprised to see some of the comments! I've used Sense Creative now for 6 years. Excellent customer service and when issues have arisen I've found John Tim and David to be very accommodating. I thought it only fair to add my experience. I contacted Tim on Friday 3pm and needed a banner design and leaflets for an event a local hotel was launching at short notice. Tim worked through the weekend to complete a really top notch design for both the banner and the leaflets. By Monday evening we had 5000 A5 leaflets and a 35ft long banner in our hands, my customers thrilled to bits and so am I. I can only speak from my experience, these guys (and girls) aren't cowboys! totally fantastic i have been using Sense Creative for a while now and they never disappointing we have them do all our promotional and business stationery print, but we have recently decided to have them print our clients work.. our clients are very impressed with the quality and speed of production. I have phoned Sense several times with concerns eg: client moves deadline forward etc and they have never failed us, offering solutions and often going above and beyond I would certainly recommend them to anyone. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with I was shouted at straight away when I rang about some vouchers that I was disappointed with and was told that he was sick of hearing my complaints! When I told him that I had never spoken to him before or even complained to them before, he shouted that I was just as stupid for complaining now! Without exaggerating, I was literally shouted at for most of the call, calling me stupid several times, so much so that I did not even get to explain my complaint. Poor product with shocking customer service I have never dealt with a worse company in my life! read more

I recently ordered some business cards for my husbands business, I was worried about the files I was sending to print however after a quick call with Sense Creative they helped me very patiently and directed me to the downloadable templates and artwork checklist on their website which put my mind at ease when ordering. Our business cards were delivered only 2 days later and the quality was superb. My matt laminated cards arrived on a special order saturday morning delivery yesterday, needed them for a wedding event exhibition today. Thank you Sense Creative for getting the cards delivered on time, i only ordered them Friday morning!! My experience has been nothing but pleasant with Sense Creative, i've ordered a few items now, things have turned up on time, and if i need something quickly they are happy to oblige where possible. I have been using Sense Creative since they started. Being a graphic designer I appreciate their good quality print and their service. I have just had a run of gloss postcard, spot uv business cards and quality letterheads delivered, that I designed for aa very particular high flying client. I have no qualms about delivering them there in person they are stunning. I wont move to another printer they are honest, upfront about any delivery times and generally all round good guys and girls. read more

Very poor customer service. I ordered a poster 7 weeks ago which still has not arrived. Phonecalls fell on deaf ears and emails ignored. John the Director promised last week on the delivery which still failed to turn up. They are quick to take your money but will not make sure your order is processed. Apology? No way. A request for compensation was given by an angry John and the phone slammed, obviously they are unconcerned about satisfied customers. read more

Totally disagree with the adverse comments. Quick service, value for money and really excellent quality printing. I was using a printer that charged twice as much and took twice as long and yet not half as good quality. I especially like being able to check my orders current status night or day. Will be using sense for a long time to come. (My recent photo books turned out amazing). Keep up the great work as I have been impressed overall. read more
