I have two fav massage places at Melb Central. I ended up here because even though they are really popular, they have heaps of staff ready to go. So if your asked to wait it'll be for 5 mins, generally no longer. It does get a bit crowded in the little shop and it is a bit up exposed but just close your eyes and follow your own thoughts and everyone else will disappear. Most massages happen while sitting upright in a chair. But there are 5 curtained off tables.
Today as always I initially felt like my masseur may have been purposely trying to hurt me. Felt like that for most of the 20 mins. (Which cost $20). Right up until my shoulders felt relaxed and they didn't ache anymore.
It's always pretty much the same here.
Everyone is different so if you can't stand a tough massage best try somewhere else.
Personally, I find it worth every cent and I thanked my masseur 3 times and very warmly before leaving. read more
