He has created his own brand of Athletic Reformer Pilates which is very fun and challenging for your level. He and his team of instructors are excellent. They are willing to work with your physical abilities and injuries to ensure you get the workout you need. I love how there is a modification for all levels. Second, the studio is lovely, modern and clean. It even smells good. There are eight reformers so classes are small so you can get help or corrections if need be. One can get either a daily pass or a weekly pass, perfect for the many tourists that travel through Palm Springs. The clientele appears to be almost entirely gay men -- I might have seen two women in the entire facility. I felt comfortable wearing very little while working out -- short shorts and a tight tank top, and I fit right in. The equipment and the space itself are fine, a bit rough around the edges and it could be cleaner. And the men's locker room was quite crowded and smelled a bit musty -- the steam room is essentially an orgy room. There are more polished gyms in the area, but if you are visiting and want to get a workout in, as well as have some additional fun, this is the place to go.

A little frustrating, especially since it wasn't mentioned when I called. The gym itself is clean, well-maintained, and honestly wasn't as packed as I expected given the season. My main gripe is the equipment variety. It felt like there was only one of most machines, which can make things tricky if someone's already on what you need. The chest fly machine was the exception with three available, so clearly it can be done! Minor complaints aside, it's a solid gym and I'd definitely come back on my next visit, maybe just outside of festival season.

And the odd layout of equipment. But since I've lived here for a few years I've come to appreciate this gym a lot better. They remodeled this gym and have newer equipment compared to most other gyms in the area. Their equipment is also newer and in betters shape compared to other EōS Fitness gyms I've been to in southern California. I'm still not too happy with the crowdedness at certain times of the day but I try my best to avoid those times which makes my gymtime a lot more enjoyable. And there are still times where a piece of equipment that is out of commision due to needed repair work takes longer than I'd like to see. But I will say that I do see an improvement in terms of how long a piece of equipment remains in disrepair. So I think it's only fair to point that out. Not that I ever had an issue with the cleanliness at EōS Fitness. I always thought it was reasonably clean. But I wanted to point out how impressive it is to see a cleaning crew coming in almost every night around 11pm-midnight doing a very thorough cleaning. I've even seen people cleaning the chin-up bars on the squat racks in the squat room that is located toward the front of the gym. They are very thorough. And if I ever had issues with toilets being unacceptably dirty in the men's restroom I let the front desk know and from my experience, they address it within minutes. I can appreciate how other people have had issues with billing and have left poor reviews due to their experience. That hasn't happened to me, thankfully. If I ever have this issue I'll change my review accordingly. But for now, I have really come to appreciate how this facility is open 24/7 and its proximity to my home.
