We had an amazing experience at Send It Climbing with my 11-year-old and her friend! From the moment we walked in, the bright and colorful atmosphere immediately caught our attention. The staff, especially Shawn and Jewel, were incredibly friendly and patient. They gave us a fantastic orientation, where they showed us how to strap into the harnesses and explained all the safety measures to stay secure on the wall. The facility is perfect for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced climbers. There's even a small gym upstairs with equipment to work on your upper body and do squats--great for building strength! I didn't participate this time because I'm terrified of heights, but I will slowly build up to doing this myself. It was amazing to watch my daughter's confidence grow from the beginning to the end of our visit. She started off a little hesitant but kept challenging herself to go higher and higher on the wall as the night went on. They're open until 9 PM, which is super convenient, and they offer great deals, military discounts, and even children's party packages. You can reserve a party time and bring your own food and drinks! This is not just a fun activity, but a great way to challenge yourself and get in shape. You want your kid to go home and immediately fall asleep afterwards??? This is the place !!! We will definitely be coming back. If you're in the Norfolk area, I highly recommend visiting!

This is the best climbing gym! It's a great place for experienced climbers to keep in climbing shape and hang out / get beta, but it's also such a friendly helpful place for beginners and up-and-coming youth. They have lots of fun and/or competitive events. The staff is happy to belay you or you can trade belays with a nice stranger who is belay-certified by the staff. They do birthday parties for all ages.

Wish I had energy for more bouldering because there were quite a few routes to try out in my range (V2 - V3).

The different obstacles were so much fun. The course was easy to hook into and the employees were very helpful. ( for a first timer) And once you started a course you couldn't stop for any reason. If you are too scared to go down the zip line you have to back through the course if there's ppl behind you they also have to go back. If you bring kids you have to do the course and zip line or the kids can't. But only one person at a time can go so does it really matter... my son (13 yrs old) had ran ahead and completed to courses before I even did one. They made him stop to wait for me. I appreciated that. But mid way I wanted to back out of the zip line they told me my son wouldn't be able to continue the courses if I did. Some of the staff were annoyed with basic questions like do you have a "trash can "or "do you have smaller gloves" (that are mandatory to wear) but the girl we had was amazing. She was great my son's leg had gotten stuck in a ring on one of the courses she climbed up stupid fast like a spider monkey to help him. But over all it was great and so much fun. It was a complete work out down the muscles in my fingers that I didn't even know we had. I also recommend getting the cell phone holder thing and the fingerless gloves

There's so much to do and they even offer party hosting if you're looking for a spot to celebrate. We played for about an hour and a half and spent around $40 for the both of us (including socks, I think). One thing I really appreciated was the area reserved for kids three and under it's nice knowing the little ones have a safe space away from the bigger kids. Overall, we had a great experience. My only downside was the restroom it was pretty disgusting, smelled bad, and definitely wasn't clean. Other than that we really enjoyed our time and would come back.

Or there not being designated time slots for jumping. but I was here for the kids so whatever. Sometime later I started to notice that this place is run by children, literally. The concession stand was unattended with children behind it doing what they want. The "staff" were pretty much grade school kids on their phones while there are spills and messes. The restroom felt abandoned, floor was wet with ZERO caution signs or warnings . Btw the person that actually did clean the restroom was the sole person that actually gave a damn cuz I seen them in the office doing other work. There are 100 children of varying ages all crammed in the same section and the "staff" are sitting on the benches on their phones hire people who actually give a damn about safety or shut tf down before someone gets seriously hurt and I know nobody is paying attention because when I walked up the ramp to get my young ones for immediate departure, I had my shoes on.. nobody stopped me.. crazy what y'all got going on here.. do not come here! This is my first review of anything, anywhere since the dawn of smart phones.. But i honestly could not believe my eyes and had to say something.

I have absolutely loved every experience I have had in the studio or practicing with one of their instructors at an event in the community. Most of my physical activity involves running and I am definitely not anywhere close to an advanced yogi. I enjoy it for the stretch and the gift of just being able to be somewhere totally in the moment without distractions. It really is a gift to myself that I don't give nearly enough. If I had time to add another activity onto my weekly schedule, I wouldn't hesitate to be a member. Thankfully, their drop-in process is easy and the ability to buy class packs makes it easy to come in whenever my schedule allows. I never feel like an "outsider" when I drop in, a vibe I have gotten from other studios. Peyton and Ann have been my favorite go-to instructors, but everyone has been wonderful in their own unique teaching style. I personally like a little humor in my yoga. They have so many varieties of classes for all levels of student. One day maybe I'll get adventurous and branch away from yin, restorative, foundations, and yoga for athletes classes. For now, that's where you will find me though- each class helps during a different point in my training cycle & year. This studio has a full bathroom with showers. They also already have everything you need to practice including straps, blocks, blankets, towels, and bolsters. They also have a handful of mats to borrow if you forgot one or are just giving yoga a try for the first time. When you enter the studio you first check in with the desk before putting your belongings in the cubbies directly across from the desk. The receptionists have always been friendly and helpful. There are three rooms, it is helpful to go ahead and ask which one your class will be in when you check in. They usually assume you already know- which maybe I should for some of the classes I've taken a few times. I still like to ask! This studio offers a huge variety of classes and class times. They have been perfect for a casual novice person like myself; but they also offer instructor training and advanced workshops. They have kids classes, barre classes, pilates, and probably a few others that I don't even know about! I've checked out a few other studios just to compare and this checks all the boxes and just feels like home every time I drop in for a class.

I was a memeber during two years, but then covid came into our lifes... I can only say good things about Studio Bamboo. They are very friendly and welcome, there is a lovely environment and teachers are the Best. I loved Sammi Multiflow Saturday morning classes, they are so perfect for awaeking (music was included). Katarina sessions were deep and introspective, she used to work with breaths and sounds. The place is very nice and 10/10 clean. Changing rooms, restrooms, classes were always impeccable. It might help that everyone might leave the shoes in the entrance. They have material in case you needed it. They use to offer matts, blocks, straps, etc. but at the end if you are going frequently you will bring your own matt. I just want to thank you, every class I took was different and perfect. Such and interior and exterior development.
