My experience was AWFUL. After walking through our home for about 30-45 minutes, David came up with the estimate of nearly $17k!!! This estimate included 3 trucks, 6 people for 3 days, taking apart and putting back together all furniture and gas for all 3 trucks. We were shocked and he could tell so he said that anything we moved ahead of time would come off the total, including unused moving supplies. He also told us that it was not the boxes but the big furniture that was what the majority of the cost. So, we went like gang busters moving our stuff. In fact, we moved so much that when they came to drop off all the moving supplies, David's associate was angry. He was shouting and yelling on the phone, to whoever he was talking to, about how we have moved nearly everything. He was mad that I was packing the kitchen , to where my sister and my friend were both uncomfortable. We moved, at the very least, 75% of our home, probably closer to 85%. The day they show up, there are 4 workers. The next day, they had 5. They spent too much time, way too much materials (my plastic bottles spices and Ziplock bags with spices, we wrapped in 3-4 sheets of packing paper each. Boxes were insulated with 5-8 pieces of packing paper, to go 2.5 miles. I have pictures and videos to prove this) Anyway, after all we did, all we moved, after we were assured that the cost of the move would be reduced based on what we moved, the new and bargain price was $13,500!!! Also this only included one truck, gas for one truck and 4 people one day, 5 the next. After hours of discussions, and trying to explain basic math, David settled on $9000. Seriously, $9000 to love 25% of $17k. Now, I'm no genius, but that doesn't really "math" out. Richard assured us he ran it through all his matrix and formulas. We made him very aware of the fact that we knew he was screwing us, we knew he knew he was screwing us but because they had already loaded the remainder of our home onto the truck and we're holding it hostage until we paid, we had to pay. As a side note, David also sold us on their services under the guise that all their employees are ex-military. We are extremely patriotic Americans and we knew they were high but bc they were all military and the fact they would reduce the cost based on what we moved, we decided on them. The employees they hire may be the x-military but the sub contractors that do all the moving are not. I feel we were stereotyped as wealthy because of the home we were moving out of. That, along with the fact that David knew we were very patriotic Americans, he took severe advantage of us. I feel he was dishonest, deceitful and manipulative. I'm not as mad about the money as I am about the fraud. read more

I feel bad to have served under the same branch as the owner of Semper Fi.. Once picked up, David held hostage items, over charged and ultimately damaged items. Definitely a real friendly guy on the phone, Don't let that deceive you, out thousands. Beware. read more

Last time we moved we did everything ourselves. Bad idea when you're moving heavy furniture up a flight of stairs. This time we got smart and called these guys. Best. Experience. Ever. I cannot tell you how amazing the two guys were that moved all of our stuff for us. They lifted our dresser as if it were light! And let me tell you, from experience that thing weighs a ton! They were extremely nice and went out of their way to help us move. No matter what you need, these guys should be your first call. read more

These guys are amazing! They arrived on time, ready to work. If we hadn't told them to stop for lunch, I don't think they would've. We moved 45 miles away and everything was in perfect condition when we all arrived. One of the guys dropped a piece of heavy equipment on his foot and kept going like nothing happened. We used them a second time to pick up an antique glass cabinet, again, perfect experience. Not only are they hard working guys, they're entertaining as well! I just recently was relocated for my job and had a three hour move. The entire process from quoting to the very end was not the best experience. This was my first move where we hired a company and based on my experience it's not worth the money or time. Front the beginning, I wanted to use this company because they came highly recommended from a friend. When I was quoted and it was 5k less than competitor, I questioned it and suggested the owner come out for a visual to ensure it was correct. Then he did come up a few thousand which I had expected and was okay with. We had to do a partial move mostly to storage and some to a rent house. I was told to mark things going to the house with for painters tape and leave the rest unmarked for storage. I'm a planner and extremely organized (like the friend you call to help you organize your house) so I took this serious and made sure I had everything in line for when they came to pack and move us. I had no schedule or timeline for the move. The evening before I called to inquire on what time they were coming and was told between 8-10. The movers arrived around 11 and advised they had issues getting supplies. The workers worked hard and I had no issues with them. The next day I was told the same they would be there around 9 to finish up and should be heading to storage around 12. They arrived at almost 10am and did not leave until almost 5pm. I don't think this was the workers fault at all, as I don't feel like the job was quoted correctly on the front end. The storage facility closed at 10pm (3 hours away) and these poor workers had not stopped all day for food or anything. So, they arrived at the house after my husband worked his butt off to help them unload to make the timeline (again we paid several thousand dollars to not have to move ourselves) so that they would be out of storage on time. They came to house after 10pm to unload and move things in until well after midnight. The owner called about the payment which I paid at a very late hour of the night. I thought all along the process as he made very "sexist" comments insinuating that I was a stay at home mom with a part time job in reality the move is for a career promotion for myself that he is terrible with customer service. I gave the benefit of the doubt and booked with him anyway. After trying to unpack our bedding at 1am I quickly realized all of our items were in complete cluster. We found our bedding two days later in storage, but no pillows. My husband had no shoes, we had to go buy him shoes, my jewelry (not expensive) never made it to the house, along with several items (food) never made it to the house. We returned 8 boxes to storage tried to find our way to things we needed and couldn't. All of our large items are at the front and we will have to hire a babysitter and help to organize and move the storage building around to find items we really need. I try to see the good in people so I reached out to the owner who previously to being paid always answered and returned calls and I left two voicemails and called once and was told he would talk to his crew and call me back. Haven't heard back and I doubt I will. I would for sure pay more knowing my items would be organized and I will be respected by the business. I love supporting a local small business, but I would not use them again. read more

We called three different moving companies on a Monday to move 4 pieces of furniture. One company never called me back with a quote another said it would be a four hour minimum charge. But I called and spoke to Josh and he was super fast in returning my call. Said he could get it done in the next couple of days if I was ok with that. On move day they called two hours ahead of time and asked if they could come on over. In an hour in half that includes the drive from Little Rock to Conway the furniture was in place. They were so nice to me and my husband and did a great job for a fair price . Good to know that there are still hard working families out there that want your business.
