Although the facility seems fairly small the seem to provide an extensive selection of medical equipment and supplies, equipment ranging from wheel chairs and canes to custom orthotics. I would venture to say, if they don't stock what you need then they can probably get it for you.

This is the absolute WORST, INCOMPETENT customer service experience I've ever experienced. I was…read morepromised a phone call by the manager that she would go to pick up my supplies personally and that I would receive them the following day. No equipment, no phone call. I made 6 trips to the Sweet Water store over a 4 week period and was never afforded the courtesy of phone call to be told they DID NOT have my equipment or an apology for the inconvenience. Instead, I was given excuses by the manager, Jennifer Butler, that "I had an emergency and couldn't pick up your supplies", no phone call again. When I finally received my mask it was the wrong size. When I returned to the store for the 5th time, I was accused of switching the original small mask on the return, for the medium I received that she actually gave me. She was insistent that she had given me the small that I ordered and accused me of switching to a medium. Next I had to return the CPAP tubing because I ordered a heated hose and was given NON heated item. This woman was insulting, rude and totally incompetent. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Sweet Water Medical.

My first encounter with Play it again sports was in the mid 1990s . I bought a pair of roller…read moreblades. It was in Miami, Florida. I had great experiences there. So imagine my delight when I found out there was one down the street from my job. I was looking for weights, dumbells to be specific. I didn't want to pay full price. I remembered that PIAS had dumbbells back in the day. I called and a nice gentleman, Mike, told me they were open and they had weights. I came in around 6:30pm. They were assisting another customer so I waited patiently with my mask on. More about that later. I inquired why one set of dumbbells were more than others(not weight related). Mike said the insulated black weights are commercial grade and the iron ones are not. The iron weights are at or around $1.45 a pound and the commercials grade is $2.00 a pound. Great information and it allowed me to make an informed decision. I bought a pair of 15# & 25#. There on signs on the weights that clearly show the prices. After Mike rang up the sale, as a courtesy he carted the product to my SUV and put them in the way back. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they weren't wearing masks and didn't require masks. They did have a sign outside saying they clean thoroughly and recommended we practice safe distancing. Other than that they have great selections for baseball, cleats. Golf and workout equipment. I will be back. You can sell your unused sports equipment to them. Just call ahead first before you lug it out of storage.

The staff could not have been more knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. They helped us find exactly what we needed without making us feel pressured to buy things we didn't need. We happened to shop during a sale and Florida's sales tax holiday, and we walked out completely outfitted for our trip for under $500. There's something special about shopping at a locally owned outdoor store that has been in business since 1971. The selection was excellent, but the knowledgeable personal service was what really stood out. We will absolutely shop here again. Highly recommend!
