The best part of the hotel might be the breakfast. Home2 Suites probably has some of the most elevated complementary hotel breakfast at the budget friendly level that I've come across. Loved the create your own breakfast sandwiches, the delicious yogurt parfaits, and the warm biscuits. Overall, an excellent place to stay at :)

I understand prices go up in season, but this seems excessive in my opinion. Because I am vegan and eat a healthier diet, I continuously request bananas at the complimentary breakfast buffet. They seem to be offered sporadically. This morning, the bananas offered should NOT have been. they were over ripe, rotten on some and gross. when i asked if there were any other bananas, I was met by an unfriendly "they're all the same". I took the one that looked the least rotten, peeled it and it was all brown on the inside, Went back to the bowl and one was really rotted at the stem, and another was split open. I took them out of the bowl and let the woman know that they were bad and should probably be thrown away. I went to get coffee, and she put them back in the bowl. Are fresh bananas too much to ask when I'm paying $315/night for an average hotel??

The location is very convenient, right next to the interstate with plenty of nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Check-in was quick and easy, and we especially appreciated the receptionist placing us on the first floor as far from the lobby as possible after informing us the hotel was hosting baseball and lacrosse teams that weekend. That extra thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. Our stay was excellent, just as it has been in the past. There was plenty of parking, we never heard any disruptive noise, and all of the hotel amenities worked perfectly throughout our visit. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we return. Highly recommend.

Checkin quick, parking good if you arrive at regular hours. We had a 2 queen bed setup for adult daughter, wife and I. Suite was well equipped, though bare minimum of cutlery, glasses and dishes, which meant washing dishes/glasses between meals if needed. Just bare minimum in kitchen - very small garbage can if you had take out containers, etc. Nice fridge, stovetop and microwave oven. Tiny dishwasher and just two pods of soap for a week stay. Rest of room was nice. Flat panel TV installed on the wall - but not at wall at the end of the beds, but on the side - I guess only open space. Beds were nice, asked for extra pillows. Had a nice view of a really busy car wash outside, table for dining an 4 chairs, cushioned chair. Bathroom was standard - but the closet door was broken and would not stay closed, banging into the bathroom door during the evening. Closet was really only open space for clothing, suitcases, shoes, etc, other than the bedstand drawers. Used the pool twice and sat at the tables around the pool. Nice when the sun was out, but lots of traffic could be heard. Breakfast was the highlight - not so much the food, but the smiling attentive staff who kept the food replenished, kept the tables cleaned and coffee pots refilled. Pretty much standard breakfast - eggs, either bacon or sausage, oatmeal, bread/bagels, cereal, yogurt and juices. Front desk staff were helpful with suggestions on best beaches and why. They gave us beach chairs to use - which was helpful given that we flew into Ft Myers and had no chairs or umbrellas. Great place to stay - easy in/out, near the highway, close to stores and some restaurants. Would stay here again.

There's a variety of great restaurants and you don't even need to leave the property. Breakfast at Maia every morning was something we really looked forward to. As a titanium elite, we were bonvoying and I have to say, the continental breakfast that comes with titanium is plenty. And don't forget to have the orange juice, it's heavenly and included. Service was excellent each morning we were there. The servers can't do enough for you. Maia also has a very nice peaceful ambiance and the windows look out at the pool/ocean. If you want more than a continental breakfast with your status, you can pay an additional $15 and get all the hot food as well. And if you don't have status, you can pay for à la carte breakfast too or the buffet how you like. We also enjoyed Tesoro and Quinn restaurants as well. Our room was on the 9th floor and while it was very nice, it could definitely use some updating. But honestly, with all the great amenities, you can hardly think about needing a fresh coat of paint or new bathroom furnishings or more modern lighting. The room was still very nice. And I loved the bracelet they gave us that was our room key too! The bed was very comfy! The weather was super cold while we were there, however we found some time to enjoy the beach and pool. The gym was very nice as well. There is so much to do.. there's even a bowling alley for those rainy days. If you're looking for a great getaway in Florida, JW is a very nice, relaxing resort for all ages, young and old. And not to forget parking ... there's a self park lot right across the street, which was very easy or you can opt for valet. Enjoy!

Would recommend staying in a Sirene room/suite (adult only tower) if you are traveling without children. The rooms are quieter and offer additional features like access to the adult rooftop pool, breakfast, separate check-in/out lounge, separate beach sitting area, etc. The Gulf front rooms/ suites offer spectacular views of the beach and sunsets. The huge beach is great for sitting, walking, shelling, and playing. Also, lots of water activities like fishing, jet skis, banana boat, parasailing, dolphin cruises, etc. We really enjoyed starting our day with breakfast at Maia's Restaurant. Excellent buffet with omelet station (or you an order off a menu), and great service! Big Thanks to Dolly, as well as Bianca, Nellie, Ally, Calene, Kay, and the rest of the team for treating us royally. Fantastic way to start each day! We are looking forward to our next trip to the JW Marriott Marco Island.

The lobby is nicely decorated with secluded seating areas, work spaces, conversational areas and a lovely 3 sided fireplace. The rooms are well appointed and clean as a whistle. I have to extend a special shout out to the front desk employee, Anna. Every time my family saw her, she was super sweet, very nice and accommodating to my family and I'm sure to everyone who crosses her path. The gym, pool, outdoor fire pit and breakfast amenities are on point, well kept, immaculate at all times. The staff that flips and supplies the rooms were professional and on time. The breakfast area is immaculate and the morning staff keep it clean and freshly supplied. This hotel is a great stay with SOOOO many stores and restaurants in the same parking lot!! I walked for an hour each morning and still didn't walk the entire retail area in the Gulf Coast Town Center. It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel shares a parking lot directly across from each other with a Marriott Courtyard and you can use the amenities at either. That was pretty cool. We were comfortable at this hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and treated us well. We interacted with Jalyn in person, and Stefan via text at the front desk. Both were very personable and professional. We brought our two cats with us on the trip, and there is a $75 pet fee which was a lot lower than other hotels we looked at. They also allowed two pets per room, when other properties only allowed one. That was our main reason for picking this hotel. The beds were super comfy (we were in a King Size room), the lobby was well maintained with fruit infused water and great coffee (with little flavored creamer pods, which I appreciated). After the great check-in process with Jalyn, we headed to our room to get our cats settled. In the first room we were in (201), we noticed a weird sticky liquid leaking onto the carpet from the air conditioning unit. Since we didn't know what it was (condensation or Freon or what). we didn't want to chance it with our cats in the room (possibly licking it) if it was a chemical. We called down to the front desk to voice our concerns, and they were very apologetic and completely understood our concerns. They moved us to another room (222), with the same layout and bed size and everything. This new room did not have the leaking air unit but it did have its own issues. The box spring was torn under the bed so our cats were getting into it (and again, we weren't sure of the safety of that, if there are nails or splinters inside there). After they kept getting in there no matter what we did to block it, we stopped by the front desk to ask for a stapler to reattach the boxspring fabric ourselves. They did house a lot of displaced folks during a recent hurricane (which is awesome of them), along with their pets so maybe another mischievous little guy did that boxspring damage. The other issue we had was that the toilet would clog very easily with the smallest amount of toilet paper. We got a plunger from the front desk to try to fix that problem, but it seemed like it was definitely a plumbing issue that should be looked at. And on the last night, while trying to get some sleep for a super early flight the next day, I saw my two cats both freaking out and chasing something. It was a large bug coming out of the bathroom that then scurried into the front closet. It was either a roach or a palmetto bug, but whatever it was, it was not a nice sight to see and I did not get a wink of sleep after that. At 4am, I tried to make the coffee in the room's little kitchen area, but the coffee maker was the kind that took coffee pods and the little basket of coffee items only had packets of coffee grounds, not pods. Another letdown, for this tired girl. Overall, the hotel's main areas are pretty nice, the staff members we interacted with were amazing, but the rooms (the most important part) left a few things to be desired, unfortunately.
