This is one of your typical self-service cafe establishments you find dotted across airport terminals the world over.
This one has a slightly Spanish flavour in the choice of filled baguettes (bocadillos) with tortilla con patatas, the choice of wines and the array of pastries, but otherwise is pretty anonymous.
Service varies hugely - there's just one till, and if someone wants lots of coffees made and there's only one member of staff there, it can seem interminable. Their sandwiches are pretty unimaginative, too - there are better selections elsewhere in the airport, if you can be bothered to trek around.
Seating is very convenient for gates 41-44, though, and it's probably better to wait for your gate to open while sipping a coffee than it is to sit in the regimented rows of seats by the gates themselves.
It's relatively expensive, as you might expect - a couple of sandwiches and drinks will set you back over EUR12. read more
