We visited San Jose del Cabo in February 2017 and I stumbled upon this cute, small shop…read more Everything is hand made in Mexico and really beautiful. It's a special place to get a unique Mexican item. We planned to go back later to purchase a hat I wanted but, unfortunately, ended up not having enough time. I contacted the shop owner, Yumiko, once we were back in the US to see about having the hat shipped. She went above and beyond to get the hat to me! When the FedEx shipping charge was $$$, she personally went to the post office to research alternative ways to get the hat to me. She was awesome about sending me photos of the various hats the store has to ensure that I got the exact hat I wanted. The hat arrived today and it's even better than I remembered! Yumiko and Shima Shima are AWESOME! I can't wait to go back!

This a popular place to shop (not just of groceries but also all sorts of other things - somewhat…read moresimilar to Walmart), accessible by bus (many of which list it on the front window as a stop). It's also a place to find low cost food to eat while there. In addition to the food court restaurants near the cash registers, (and also even many more upstairs near Cinépolis), there is also a mini cafeteria inside the store itself - offering many options. I tried the 5 taco and a drink for $52 MXN (around $2.70 USD at time of posting) before buying groceries to make meals on my own. Be sure to check your receipt and change. Some of the cashiers will short you - and deny it when you call them on it and show them how much you are owed. Rounding up is common, but this place has now lost my trust and business - over a few Pesos.

The store has everything and I mean everything! I find the prices to better than La Comer!read more

Excellent selection for men, women and children from Mexico's largest chain of shoe stores. All…read moreshoes are made in Mexico. LOW prices! I bought 2 pairs of high quality and comfortable 100% ostrich leather cowboy boots for $57 per pair. Comparable shoes at Boot Barn in the USA would cost over $300. Copy down the address on a piece of paper, hand it to the taxi driver. If you're close to downtown / Marina it's an easy walk. This is an authentic Mexican business. No employees in the shop spoke English. They don't see many gringo customers here. If you don't speak Spanish bring a friend who does or be ready to use sign language and a bunch of guessing. Guys: If you looking for cowboy boots the sizes are by length are in centimeters. So an American size 9.5 is 27 Mexican. American dollars and all major credit cards accepted.

Like a lot of dying malls in the US. But this one wasn't so big so, the impact wasn't so great. But it was a cute spot with an ice cream joint, a coffee space and some restaurants. There were lots of ads for the open spaces to be leased, which was odd. But it was cute enough, but not a place to hang out and peruse. No clothing stores and no major grocery store or corner store, but for a meal it was fine. I'd like to try some other places upon my next visit.
