Usually there a a break to regroup on what the professor is observing, and discussion of points of emphasis. I also am impressed with all my training partners, especially higher belts i have worked with, having open discussions of what is working, effective and not. Of course the professors are always available for questions and clarification. On a personal note, I am very active 60 year old. I found my core strength is improving and other areas in need of strength and conditioning are exposed for me to work on. I try go get to classes 15-30 minutes early just to loosen up.

I have had a long-standing relationship with the dojo and many of its staff for numerous years. In the fall of 2025, my son was taken to the ground without warning or protective gear by Sensei Ryan Lavin. Following the dojo's handbook, I reported my concerns regarding this incident to Stephanie Bucker - the owner and head instructor. Instead of receiving concern for my son's experience and safety, I was met with immediate hostility and harassment from Stephanie Buckner, from her boyfriend and co-instructor, Nader Azzouzi, as well as other dojo staff, including Sempai Janecke Santoro. The harassment occurred in the dojo lobby as well as through private messages to me from staff. Most notably, I received a message from Mr. Azzouzi threatening to remove my children from the dojo if I did not act as he saw fit. There were additional inappropriate and targeted interactions directed toward me, my children, and my family. Our private attempts to resolve this situation were ignored several times, and our family has been misrepresented in subsequent discussion about the incident. As of the date of this posting, Stephanie Buckner has refused to take accountability for the behavior of her instructors, her business, or herself. It is disappointing that someone who presents herself as a community leader would treat students and parents in this disrespectful way, rather than handle an issue and move forward. It is important to note that this is not the first time I have heard similar reports about Stephanie Buckner, Nader Azzouzi, and other Buckner staff behaving in this manner when other comparable issues arise. They have also posted multiple reviews in attempts to bury this statement on other sites, many of which appear to be fabricated by friends and family. I warmly welcome direct contact from anyone wishing to discuss this matter further. I can provide screenshots, witness names, and any additional details necessary to substantiate my account.

The gym is very clean and organized. I never find it to be that crowded and there are enough machines that I am almost never waiting for one. I love that BeeFit is open 24/7 since I tend to work out really early. The owner, Jeff, is a super great guy. He's so friendly and knows everyone by name.
